I hired Baker's Waterproofing when a recent plumber found a leak possibly in my foundation and recommended them to me. Baker's initial inspection uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was leaking water from the hill behind my home as well as groundwater from below. They scheduled the work and sent out Victor and Miguel to complete a full waterproofing, French drain, pump installation and backup system. From start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to was extremely professional, everything was explained clearly and concisely, and pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work completed. Special thanks to the incredibly hardworking, polite, and professional Victor and Miguel. I highly recommend asking for them by name to ensure your work is done quickly but completely.

I was thoroughly impressed with the team that serviced our basement. Garrett, Darren, Logan, and Chris Trevitz were our crew. We were pleased with the attention to detail, their professional demeanor and language, their explanations, and respect for our home. We had a few changes that were unanticipated (previous work that was done in a way that interfered with their plan) and they explained why the changes needed to be made and provided us options. It was easy to trust their work and their opinions as they encouraged us to see their work throughout the process. We are excited since this will easily increase the desirability of our home if we ever choose to sell it – and it looks great! We would have preferred the outlet for the pumps to be installed flush with the wall instead of external to the drywall but we’re told this was “standard” – something to consider working out with them ahead of time so you aren’t caught off guard and prefer an in-wall outlet setup (see pictures). It really wasn’t a huge deal do us since the pipes ended up being external to the dry wall too – but wonder if that can be explicitly explained to homeowners in the future. We were happy the field leadership came by to check on the project and quality! They were done in the time they planned and cleaned up the space better than it was when they started! They have set the bar very high for any future construction teams we hire! Thank you!

Bob was excellent, Professional, and informative. After his thorough structural inspection of our home, he pointed out cracks that we were unaware of, and remarked on causes of the damage that we were concerned about. My kids heard him talking about “cracks” in our house, and said they didn’t know they “we are living in a crack house”. I laughed so hard, I had to pee. Bob was truly impressive with his structural engineering knowledge and well organized presentation. I am excited to get started our our project and look forward to working with Bob as our project manager.

The gentlemen (Daylan, Nick and Mike) that competed the work were terrific. They kept me well informed and did an excellent job. They found the source of leak that was different than what I originally thought and explained the issue to my plumber. They left the area cleaned and removed all debris. I would highly recommend them. They explained how the sump pump worked as well as the backup battery and what I should do if there was an issue. The gentleman (Bob Massaro) that explained the services that I needed, and price did an excellent job showing me the areas of issues, and how the Baker's would fix the issues. He answered all my questions and was available. Since we ran into an unexpected issue, he came to my house during the work, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Baker's Waterproofing.

I am so very pleased with Baker Waterproofing because of how they handled some problems we encountered. They went above and beyond to make everything more than right. With that kind of service, I have full confidence in their standing by their warranty, should I ever (hopefully not!) need it. We contacted Groundworks with concerns about a cracked wall. Their Inspector promptly came out to assess the situation. Craig was professional, considerate and worked to give all discounts available. Customer service was friendly and reliable, and the job was actually done sooner than expected. Marquis and Brandon worked tirelessly in extreme heat to complete the job in 2 days, installing 15 earth anchors through shale rock. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional throughout, and clean up was perfect. Groundworks representatives were very transparent throughout the process and welcomed any questions or input we may have had. I would highly recommend Groundworks/Bakers Waterproofing to anyone in need of their particular services.

Marshall came and assessed the work that needed to be done. Said it would be no issue to remedy our issue . Extremely nice guy . Have spoke with him a few times about other issues we have . The crew called me ahead of time the day of my scheduled appt. to make sure I knew when they'd be there . They were on time and courteous. Asked if I had any questions about what would be done showed me the work after it was done and asked if I had any questions . Again I will state the crew was very courteous. All systems go.with work.they had done , I would highly recommend them . We are definitely using them anytime we need such work done . I do believe the young man's name that spoke to me directly was Marquis. Very nice gentleman I hope I spelled it right .

I'm giving 5 stars even though we were unable to have Groundworks complete our job as planned. They bumped us up two weeks ahead of schedule. When they came to the house they found that the work order was missing a bunch of additional things that needed to be added to complete the job. There was a miscommunication between the individuals who wrote the job plan and the workers. The foreman, Cale showed genuine empathy and did everything he could to try and see if it was possible to do the job within our original price range. While Cale moved back and fourth inspecting our crawl space and calling the office to try to find a solution, Joey, Gauge and Brad helped brainstorm and entertain my toddler. When ultimately we would be unable to afford the job after the job was written properly, they were still kind and gave us a direct contact to chat with on the best way to move forward. My Husband spoke with Martin and he was very informative, honest and helpful. Despite us not being able to move forward with our project as planned, we will definitely be going with Groundworks in the future. Everyone we worked with was kind, honest and professional.

Wendell W. came to look at my water issue. He did an excellent job of explaining what needed to be done to correct it. Cale, Shay and Joel came to start the waterproofing project and discovered that the back wall of my house was bowing. Martin came to evaluate what needed done. The team stabilized my back wall and also did the interior work to fix the water issue. Installing the stabilizing bars wasn't easy due to so much rock. The guys worked very hard (they had to rent another machine) and got the job done in one day!! The guys cleaned up the inside and left the outside looking great!! I look forward to seeing the system do its job. I would recommend Bakers Waterproofing! Thanks

We had our basement waterproofed by Baker's. It's been bone-dry since. We did have one piece of equipment fail within a month of the installation, but it was a third party dehumidifier that was just a dud I guess, no fault of Baker's. I texted the project manager about it on a Sunday. I expected a response the following week. He got back to me within the hour. The equipment was removed and replaced within a couple days. Everything great since. I would highly recommend Baker's, but specifically our project manager Nathan Goddard and the head guy on site Daylan. Can't remember his last name, but he's got a long beard and did a great job. Thanks to both of them and the rest of the guys.

The guys ultimate professionals, explained everything in detail and as work began Josh came to get me to discuss the situation with a particular section that was going to be problematic. He offered a few options, I explained my main concern was further loss of surface and tripping hazards for myself or anyone on property. I told him I would trust his professional judgment. And that was a great decision, the result exceeded what I thought would be possible. Josh & Omar kept a clean work area, and communicated with me as things progressed. I highly recommend Bakers from start to finish top notch service. From text, email, and phone I knew every step of the way. Bob did my initial assessment and he too was amazing. The level of time, and explanation about the process again amazing experience.

Awesome customer service! I worked with Bob Liga to get a quote for lifting some older concrete slabs. Super friendly. Very thorough and patient with all my questions. We just had Bakers out to waterproof our entire basement and had the best experience all around! Gavin M came out for the estimate, and he was extremely through and considered every detail! He was very kind and walked us through every step of the process. We felt so confident from go that they were going to take care of us. Tyler and his crew were on our job, and they were also amazing. They worked so hard for two days to get the job done in a timely and correct manner. We can't say enough things about not only the employees but the products they offer. We have been in our house for 10 years and have always had a wet basement but now we are able to use it for living space and we are so happy with the whole experience! 10/10 would recommend!

The technician, Bill, just finished the first annual inspection of the installation that was completed a year ago and I wanted to add my 2 cents worth to the many positive reviews already up. From estimate to this first inspection my experience with Bakers Waterproofing has truly been 5 star! At installation the technician felt that changing to wall anchors would be a better choice and, after some discussion with the company, was able to do the job with only a small adjustment in the final price. Since that time, each time I go into the basement, I am impressed with the appearance of the work and the knowledge that that wall is secure! Add to that the personable and caring technicians that do the follow-up work and I am confident in recommending Baker Waterproofing to anyone that asks!

Just had Marshall Boyles inspect my sump pump that the company installed in my home in 2021. I would like to commend Marshall for his terrific work ethic. He is the first employee that really answered my questions in a clear and concise manner. He tightened wall anchors with care managing not to scratch my recently painted game room. He took time to clean the outside of the pump area. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Marshall for a job well done!

The team of Theron and Roger just completed the installation of sump pump, battery, channel and pipe system at my home. These gentlemen were punctual, professional, kind and encouraged questions from me and were happy to explain everything. They were respectful of me and my property and cleaned the driveway prior to leaving for the day. The project was originally proposed in a different way; upon walking through , Theron the foreman re-evaluated the options and I agreed to the changes which also were able to be accomplished without moving the hot water tank and laundry tubs and other extra work. Theron also adjusted the contract and price which then saved me money. His action spoke volumes of great customer service. First and foremost, excellent customer service was exemplified by both Theron and Roger introducing themselves and extending their hands to shake mine upon arrival. They did an awesome and professional job and I highly recommend them if you are in need of such a project in your home.

I had push piers put under the foundation of my house and couldn't be more pleased with Baker's Waterproofing Company from beginning to end. I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with Matt and Chacar. They are the BEST workers I have ever seen. They worked diligently and non stop all while they were there. Chacar knew what he was doing and did it well. When he needed guidance from Matt, which was seldom, he did it quickly and without hesitation. Matt is extremely good at his job as Forman. He could be doing one thing while still noticing what the others are doing and correct what needed to be corrected. The work they were doing was very physical but they kept moving and very, very seldom ever took a break. They are also very polite and courteous and cleaned up very well when completed. I truly can't say enough good things about them. You should be extremely proud to have them on your team! I know you probably have many teams that go out to do this work and I hope they are all as good as this team. They set the standard of excellence! Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Bakers to everyone. Please pass this on to their boss as he should know just how good these two men are, if he already doesn't. I also want to commend you on your job as sales representative (Randy Fonner). You were extremely knowledgeable in what you do, pleasant to work with, and quick to correct any problems. We are so pleased with Baker's. We recently had to do a major foundation repair, and while this is never fun project, Bakers made it much less stressful. From the beginning when we met with Angus, he assessed the job and set expectations appropriately. He was honest and straightforward and answered all of our questions.When it was time for the work to be done, Eli, Bill, and Matt were professional, attentive, and extremely hard working. Throughout the day they checked in with us and it was clear they were experienced and took pride in their work. When a question came up during the job it was evaluated strategically and saved us money and time. I hired Baker's Waterproofing at recommendation of a recently hired plumbing contractor after their work revealed a leak coming through my foundation. I called Baker's and they sent somebody out for an initial inspection of my basement and garage. It was ultimately uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was not only leaking water from the steep hill behind my home whenever it rained or whenever snow melted, but also that groundwater was welling up and through it from the ground below. Baker's scheduled a time that worked for both their workers and my time, and sent out Victor and Miguel to get a full waterproofing, french drain, and pump installation with backup system installation completed. Their work quality, work ethic, and determination to keep timeliness blew me away. Despite running into several complications and delays that were through no fault of their own, not to mention inclement weather on one of the scheduled days of work (heavy snowfall), they managed to work with their small crew to get all of the work done in about a week's total time. It only took them two days of work to complete a full job along nearly the entire basement wall, the whole back garage wall, and one entire side wall of the garage. On top of this, from start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and explained anything I needed elaboration on clearly and concisely; and their pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work they did. I cannot recommend Baker's Waterproofing enough; they are worth every minute and every penny. Special thanks to Victor and Miguel. If I ever need anything Baker's Waterproofing can do again, I am definitely asking for them by name.
