History
In 1975, Tim Baker founded Baker’s Waterproofing with only his pick-up truck. In 2012, Tim’s son, Brian, bought the business and expanded its products and services. I’m the Guy Basements (ITG) was founded in 2009 by Jake Waltz. In 2021, Baker’s and ITG joined forces with Groundworks, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company, to expand their services across the state. Baker’s Waterproofing is a multi-time winner of the Pittsburgh Top Workplaces award, the BBB Torch Award for Ethics and is an A+ BBB accredited business.
