Thank you for being honest and treating me with respect and dignity. As a woman homeowner, calling for home repairs is often one of the most stressful parts of maintaining a house. The fear of being taken advantage of or pressured into unnecessary work is very real and far too common. When I noticed cracks and changes in my foundation, you sent out one of your experts Gavin Melan to come and walk me through the setup, explain how the issue is identified, and show me what the correction process involves. He spoke to me as an intelligent adult — no scare tactics, no talking down to me. Because of that, I now feel much more comfortable and confident in choosing the right repairs and fully understand the process.

Bob was excellent, Professional, and informative. After his thorough structural inspection of our home, he pointed out cracks that we were unaware of, and remarked on causes of the damage that we were concerned about. My kids heard him talking about “cracks” in our house, and said they didn’t know they “we are living in a crack house”. I laughed so hard, I had to pee. Bob was truly impressive with his structural engineering knowledge and well organized presentation. I am excited to get started our our project and look forward to working with Bob as our project manager.

I hired Baker's Waterproofing at recommendation of a recently hired plumbing contractor after their work revealed a leak coming through my foundation. I called Baker's and they sent somebody out for an initial inspection of my basement and garage. It was ultimately uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was not only leaking water from the steep hill behind my home whenever it rained or whenever snow melted, but also that groundwater was welling up and through it from the ground below. Baker's scheduled a time that worked for both their workers and my time, and sent out Victor and Miguel to get a full waterproofing, french drain, and pump installation with backup system installation completed. Their work quality, work ethic, and determination to keep timeliness blew me away. Despite running into several complications and delays that were through no fault of their own, not to mention inclement weather on one of the scheduled days of work (heavy snowfall), they managed to work with their small crew to get all of the work done in about a week's total time. It only took them two days of work to complete a full job along nearly the entire basement wall, the whole back garage wall, and one entire side wall of the garage. On top of this, from start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and explained anything I needed elaboration on clearly and concisely; and their pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work they did. I cannot recommend Baker's Waterproofing enough; they are worth every minute and every penny. Special thanks to Victor and Miguel. If I ever need anything Baker's Waterproofing can do again, I am definitely asking for them by name.

I was kept informed of their progress and any questions I had were answered. We contacted Baker's before we made an offer on a bigger home. The mines had gone underneath, and we wanted to put the work into having a bigger home. Unfortunately, the offer on the home was not accepted, but the CFI who quoted the job was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He made me safe knowing that the home could be saved by stabilizing the foundation. We are still in the market for a bigger home and if I need any work completed, I will be calling Baker's. They really made me feel secure that I could keep my family safe if any of these situations occurred at my current home or any future homes.

Chad came to my home to give an estimate on my foundation repair. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, explained how the process worked (even showed me pictures of the different products that would be used and how they worked), he showed me how much floor drop I actually had, he was very helpful and made me feel confident with my choice to hire groundwork’s!! From initial consult to the completed project, the whole process was fantastic. When my basement walls started leaking through cracks, I would have never imagined I would be saying such a thing. Baker’s Waterproofing took the time to explain everything to me. I felt extremely comfortable and well informed through every step. Based on all the estimates I got, they are reasonably priced. Bakers Waterproofing was wonderful and professional from start to finish. Bob Liga and Josh Creamer both went above and beyond to make sure our driveway project was done in a timely manner. Bob is exceptional at being in contact before, during and after the project. We never felt alone if we had questions. Josh’s work is second to none!
