The Washington Auto Mall was experiencing water seepage along the basement floor of their main building. They contacted Baker’s Waterproofing for a repair solution to the problem. After a free inspection we recommended and installed our patented french drain called WaterGuard, and since water seepage was significantly heavy, a TripleSafe sump pump system. Additionally since the basement walls were porous white semi-rigid panels were fastened to the foundation.

Kelly of Cadiz, OH had water leakage through the front wall of her basement for nearly 3 years. It had gotten to the point where mold was starting to grow on the walls. Gross!

Melissa of Uniontown, PA was having excessive dampness to the floors and walls of her 3 story concrete floor basement. Wanting this leaky issue repaired, she called the experts at Baker’s to arrange a time to have a free estimate.
George Hollenback came to Melissa’s home and gave the inspection to assess and to recommend the best waterproofing solution for her basement.
Her waterproofing system consisted of our patented SuperSump sump pump system, and WaterGuard sub-floor drain. Additionally water was accumulating along the foundation walls, so we placed a vapor liner called CleanSpace. This durable white liner will protect from further water damage and mold.
Justin of Brownsville PA had water seeking into the right corner of his garage. With the intention of selling his home he called Baker’s for a free estimate to repair this issue before beginning the selling process. (One average a home is devalued 20% if there are water damages to the home).
The inspection of the basement determined that the best waterproofing solution included installing our patented Super Sump sump pump, and 19 ft. of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage along the footer of back and right wall. In addtion to, 56 ft. of LawnScape downspout extensions were added to allow water to flow out to the road.
Both components work together in creating the superior waterproofing system that Justin was looking for. Our WaterGuard drainage system is what water will flow into instead of entering the garage, it will then flow to the SuperSump sump pump. Homeowner David of Belle Vernon PA noticed that his concrete slab driveway and concrete slab sidewalk had sunken 2” in certain areas. Fearing for the dangerous trip hazards that this can cause, he called Baker’s Waterproofing after seeing advertisements on our latest product, PolyLEVEL.
Justin Lowden, our sales manager, gave the free estimate and determined that to raise the sinking side of the slabs 128 ILBs of PolyLEVEL would need to be inserted underneath the driveway and 10 ILBs underneath the sidewalk.
The brilliance of PolyLEVEL is that it is a quick and low profile solution to fixing sunken slabs. To insert PolyLEVEL, 5/8” holes are drilled into the slab where it has sunken and PolyLEVEL is then pumped into the hole. This will be done until the slab is properly raised and level.
PolyLEVEL is a polyurethane foam material that is completely waterproof and will last roughly 80 years. The installation time is very quick, unusually completed in a few hours.
David was happy that his slabs were now safe and free from trip hazards. He was also impressed that he could even operate his car on his driveway 15 minutes after the installation was completed!
Frank and Wilma of Baden, PA were experiencing water entering their basement during heavy rains. The couple finally decided it was time to call Baker’s for a free estimate.
Frank and Wilma wanted a waterproofing solution that would keep their basement dry all the time, and one that would waterproof in areas that water was entering. With these goals in mind Service Advisor, Donald Stiffler recommended a series of products that would meet and exceed their expectations. He recommended that the best solution would be to install both a Super and Ultra sump pump, and 57 ft. of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage.

Barbara has been happily living in her Zelienople PA home for over 40 years. However she was not happy with the copious amounts of water that was seeping onto the floor and damaging her carpet during heavy rain storms. Baker’s proposed WaterGuard sub-floor drainage to be installed along the leaky foundation, and a sump system to move water to the outside. The SuperSump system and Ultra Backup generator were installed to create a system that will work even during power failures.
As an additional feature Barbara removed the carpet and instead installed ThermalDry Flooring over the concrete floor. The floor system provides a barrier to water and will also insulate the floor. To address the mold growth, Michael had BrightWall paneling mechanically applied to the wall. BrightWall white panels will never rot, warp, or discolor. Any water that passes through wall cracks will run downwards behind the wall to the WaterGuard drain.

In June of 2015 Service Advisor Michael Richmond traveled to her home and proposed installing 3 of our patented Geo Lock Wall Anchors. These anchors utilize the interior and exterior sides of the wall, providing instant stabilization. The anchors also come with a tightening kit which will be able to straighten the wall over time.

Allison Park homeowner, Day needed a solution to her basement that was leaking water during heavy rains storms from the rear right corner.

Mike of Allison Park, PA needed to repair the bowing wall in his basement that was measured to be 1 ½” facing inwards.
Service Advisor Michael Richmond conducted the free inspection, and determined that in order to stabilize the wall 9 GeoLock Wall Anchors would have to be installed. These anchors utilize both the interior and exterior sides of the foundation and will securely keep the foundation from any further movement or bowing. If desired, the homeowner can attempt to straighten the wall by using a torching wrench over time to tighten the anchors.
As you can see from these photos, the slabs around the deck area of this Uniontown inground pool were uneven and needed to be raised 1.5 inches. We raised the sunk slabs with our PolyLEVEL foam.
The polyurathane foam was pumped underneath the slab through small penny sized holes. The expanding foam raised the slab back to level. PolyLEVEL is 100% waterproof, can be installed in as little as 15 minutes depending on the size of the job, and comes with a 5 year warranty.
It is safe to say that having several feet of water in your basement is a key sign that you made need some help! Homeowner John had this very unsafe issue that greatly damaged his much needed storage area. He called Baker’s for a solution.
Service Advisor Justin Lowden gave the free inspection of the basement area. He created a system that would waterproof the entire basement area as well keep the basement dry all the time. Justin was able to provide this by using our WaterGuard interior drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement with a TripleSafe sump pump. The Triple Safe contains 3 pumps in 1! The first 2 pumps have the ability to pump 6,200 gallons of water per hour out the basement, while the 3rd pump is battery operated and kicks in when power fails to the first 2 pumps. As an additional product 65ft. of our LawnScape downspout extensions were installed to divert water further away from the home.
The front sidewalk leading up to this Allison Park home was greatly uneven. The slab had sunk so much that it was becoming a trip hazard to anyone visiting the home. Homeowner Paul called Baker’s after seeing advertising on our PolyLEVEL foam.
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley conducted the free estimate and explained the numerous benefits of the product. Our construction crew installed the foam by drilling penny sized holes into the slab for the foam to be pumped underneath. The foam expanded, raising the slab back to level. Afterwards the holes were patched with concrete.
PolyLEVEL is a new and innovative product that combines the technique of mudjacking with modern technology from our network supplier, Foundation Supportworks. PolyLEVEL is a lightweight foam that is 100% waterproof, and significantly more affordable than completely replacing sunken slabs. It has been used for years to repair roads for commercial projects by engineers and is now able to be used for residential areas too!
Delores of Belle Vernon had noticed that her home was slowly sinking away. It was clearly obvious along her front porch with measured settlement of 2”. Fearing for the structural safety of her home Delores called Baker’s to provide a solution that could stabilize her foundation.
Service Advisor Justin Lowden proposed our patented Push Pier system to lift the house. The push piers were installed by attaching brackets to the footer so to hydraulically drive galvanized steel piers into the more bearing soil that resides deep into the ground. This transferred the weight of the home onto the piers creating the stabilization that Delores' home needed.
Homeowners Zach and Kristen went with Baker’s as opposed to other competitors to replace their existing sump pump. They were highly recommended by a friend who also used us in the past.
We replaced and installed a TripleSafe sump pump for full protection. The TripleSafe is a sump pump that will keep the basement dry, period! This sump contains 3 Zoeller powered motors and 2 discharge lines to remove large amounts of water quickly. The first 2 pumps together can move roughly 6,200 gallons of water per hour out of a basement. The 3rd pump is a battery operated back up system that works if the power fails, ensuring that the sump pump will keep working. Lousia of Pittsburgh had a basement that she desperately wanted to finish into a game room. However the puddles of water on the floor, and the condensation and mold growth on the foundation walls were preventing this dream from coming true. Baker’s Waterproofing was there for a solution.
Along with our patented waterproofing system, we installed finished floor tiles called ThermalDry. These tiles come in a variety of neutral colors and will completely protect from water as well as insulate the cold concrete floor below in Lousia's basement. Lastly, we installed BrightWall vapor protective white panels along the walls. They not only brighten up this room, but they also protect from further water damage, and prevent future mold growth.
After receiving routine water flooding into his basement, a Grindstone PA homeowner called Baker’s to create a solution that would protect his entire unfinished basement from leaks. He wanted a solution that also included applying a barrier system along his porous and dirty foundation.
After a free inspection Baker’s prevented current and future leaks by installing our patented WaterGuard drain in a 3 inch trench along the foundation to collect water. Along the rear foundation wall, in both the garage and laundry room, was a leak that was allowing water to seep into the basement along the floor. This was an ongoing problem for this Point Marion PA homeowner, who had to routinely clean up her basement every time it would rain heavily.
Baker’s was there with our patented basement waterproofing system to keep this space dry! We installed our sub-floor French drain called WaterGuard along the footer in a trench. The drain will collect flooding water along the wall and from the floor, and will route it to the also installed sump pump system. We installed the SuperSump sump pump that will move water out to a downspout line at a rate of 2,500 gallons per hour. Lastly, we extended the downspout line out 15 ft. to prevent water from recirculating back into the basement.

A Point Marion homeowner called Baker’s for a second opinion in repairing their settling foundation. Repairing your foundation is NOT a light task, and they wanted someone they felt they could trust.
A free inspection by Service Advisor Justin Lowden reassured them that their home was in good hands. We stabilized the left and partial rear foundation with the installation of 10 Push Piers. Push Piers consist of long straight galvanized piers that are driven deep into ground and are attached to the footer. By doing so prevents the home from sinking any further, and makes lifting the home back to its’ original position possible.
This Point Marion homeowner’s biggest invest is now fixed!
Don of Point Marion PA had a bow along his front 23 ft. wall of his block foundation. It was noticed after seeing stair-step cracking beginning to form, a key indicator of foundation shifting. Knowing that this issue had to be addressed, he called Baker’s for a free evaluation.
Service Advisor Don Stiffler gave the estimate and determined that the wall could be stabilized from further movement by installing 4 GeoLock wall anchors. Wall anchors are our most recommended method of repairing bowing, cracking, and buckling walls. The system uses a clamping method that will anchor wall plates along the foundation to earth plates submerged in the soil of yard out 10 ft. Over time wall straightening is even possible with a torqueing wrench that will tighten the system and shift the wall back into proper alignment.
Maryann of Roscoe, PA had a basement with water, mold, and musty smells that needed to be addressed.
Baker’s conducted a free inspection to diagnose and recommend a custom-designed solution. We installed our WaterGuard draining system around entire perimeter of the basement for full protection to leaks. In the rear corner a SuperSump pump was place to collect water from the drain and to route water to the outside. Along the foundation, we placed a white vapor barrier liner called CleanSpace. Much to a Merrittstown PA homeowner’s displeasure, water was entering her unfinished basement along the rear-facing foundation wall every time it would rain heavily. She decided to give Baker’s a call after seeing our ad on tv for a free estimate on a basement waterproofing solution!
Baker’s installed our WaterGuard sub-floor French drain and a TripleSafe sump pump to prevent water seepage into the area. WaterGuard is installed in a created trench, along the foundation to collect and transfer water to the TripleSafe sump. The TripleSafe is clog resistant and long lasting due to its cast-iron design, and will move water from the French drain to a downspout at a rate of 2,500 per hour.

Mr. and Mrs. Zmean own their home in Perryopolis, PA. The floor joists in their crawl space were no longer supporting the weight from above, causing sagging, bouncy floors over their crawl space foundation. This resulted in settlement cracks on their wall and a large gap between their baseboard and floor. Their main concern was the large, dangerous gap, and with a baby on the way, they wanted peace of mind that our services would provide them with a permanent solution.
Our SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizer is a foundation repair product that provided the Zmean family with a permanent solution. Our SmartJack system permanently lifts and stabilizes existing beams and floor joists in crawl spaces. Our foreman, Ken Kahlbaugh II, and his crew installed 20 SmartJacks to support the floor joist system in the Zmean’s crawl space. Our crew also installed a supplemental beam to fully support their crawl space joists. Each SmartJack installation required digging a small hole and preparing the footing base. Our base is proven to increase support for high pressures from below the footing, and distributes lower pressures to existing soils. After the footing base was installed, each SmartJack was connected to the beam and tightened. This system will not settle, and the steel piers are galvanized to help prevent from rust and corrosion. Mr. and Mrs. Zmean now have peace of mind with stable floors, and a safe home to raise their child.
There were signs of water damage in this newly finished Uniontown basement. After every time it rained, water leaked through the concrete block walls, requiring constant clean-up. The owners tried everything, yet they were not able to protect against water leakage. They needed our waterproofing solutions to permanently keep this basement moisture-free.
Our foreman, Tom Hannah, and his crew installed a variety of our waterproofing products to address this wet basement. They installed our DryTrak baseboard drainage system, WaterGuard drainage system, and TrenchDrain grated system. DryTrak is installed when there is a 2-piece monolithic foundation. The footing and floor were poured as one piece, so it would have been extremely difficult to jackhammer through these thick edges. Our crew installed DryTrak with our epoxy resin on the baseboard, resting above the floor. Similar drains were installed in this basement to fully address the wet basement, including our unique below-floor WaterGuard drain in some areas and grated TrenchDrain in front of the basement door. The crew mechanically fastened our plastic BrightWall paneling to the basement walls to act as a waterproof barrier that channels water leaks into our drainage systems. Water that enters any of our 3 drains will be directed to our TripleSafe sump pump system. In this basement, the TripleSafe system includes our UltraSump battery backup pump for extra protection against water flooding into the system if a power outage were to occur.
A Point Marion homeowner identified mold in her damp basement. For the past few years, water was seeping through the concrete walls. Water can enter a basement through cracks, joints, and porous concrete. Subsequently, water damage could ruin belongings stored in the basement and cause mold growth. Our Foreman, Jeff Kula, and his crew installed our Mold-X2 Treatment, BrightWall Paneling System, and WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain with FlowGuard Thin-Floor Drain.
The customer requested that all walls be sprayed top to bottom with our mold treatment. Mold-X2 both cleans contaminated surfaces and prevents future mold growth. We paired this treatment with our permanent basement waterproofing solutions. Jeff and his crew attached over 100 feet of our BrightWall Paneling System onto the base of the walls. This durable vapor barrier will drain any water that might seep through the concrete blocks down into our drainage system. Our unique drains were installed along the perimeter of the basement floor (about 104 feet of drain). In this home, there is limited space between the floor slab and foundation footing. For this reason, our crew installed the FlowGuard Thin-Floor Drain with our WaterGuard Drain buried below.

A homeowner in New Salem, PA had been dealing with the stress of a wet and moldy basement. Our Service Advisor, Chris Shrontz, met with the father (homeowner) and his daughter to address the issue. They explained they were not happy with the look of their water-damaged walls and were planning to use the basement for dry storage. Chris completed a full inspection inside and outside of the home, recommended solutions, and answered all of their questions.
Our Foreman, Jeff Kula, and his crew successfully addressed all the father's and daughter's concerns. Jeff installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain with FlowGuard Thin-Floor Drain. There was a small space between the foundation footing and floor slab, so this is why our crew installed our FlowGuard Drain. This drain fits easily under the floor slab, and directs water to our WaterGuard Drain below via a wall flange.
Jeff and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System with an UltraSump Battery Back-Up Pump. Our drainage systems are designed to direct water into the sump pump system. Our powerful and reliable pumps then discharge water away from the foundation. Our UltraSump Pump will help to discharge large amounts of water if a power outage were to occur.
Our CleanSpace Wall System addressed the homeowner's concerns for their moldy and unappealing, water-damaged walls. CleanSpace is our white, plastic vapor barrier that helps keep moisture out of basements (as well as nasty crawlspaces). Also, this system has built-in anti-microbial protection to help repel mold and mildew.

In 1962, a Uniontown, PA homeowner bought his house in good condition. Over time, problems developed with his home's foundation. For years, he had been dealing with the stress of a wet basement and an unstable foundation wall. Finally, he chose to fix the problem before even bigger issues arised.
Our production crew repaired the leaky basement with our patented interior perimeter drain, WaterGuard, and complementary products to provide a complete waterproofing solution.
At the same time, we installed our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to permanently stabilize the foundation wall. Based on the condition of the wall and pressure exerted on the wall, 5 CarbonArmor straps were required for this project. First, our Foreman, Jon Mitchell, and his crew cleaned the wall to ensure good adhesion. Second, they secured the ArmorLock brackets to the perimeter framing. Third, they saturated each strap location on the basement wall with a high-strength epoxy resin. Fourth, the crew cut the straps to match the length of the wall, then saturated each with epoxy. Lastly, the straps were attached to the wall and connected to an ArmorLock bracket. The entire system was then saturated with a top coat of epoxy.
The CarbonArmor reinforcement becomes part of the wall structure, plus, it can be hidden with a coat of paint!

First, Rich Rotolo and his crewman removed the old extensions and removed the sod. Then, they connected PVC pipe to each existing downspout and ran the piping underground, away from the foundation. Next, the crew connected the pipes, then tied it into our LawnScape well. The only visible part is the green LawnScape outlet that rests flush with the lawn. For the last step, Rich and his crew replaced the dirt and sod in the yard.
Now, water drainage from the roof is directed far away from the home and onto the surface through the LawnScape underground downspout extension.

The SaniDry Sedona takes excess moisture out of the air to create a healthier space.
The crew controlled the leaks and installed an additional system to ensure that water will stay away from the foundation. When water enters the sump pump, it will travel away from the home through the LawnScape underground discharge extension that includes a grated outlet at the end.
