Beth of New Kensington PA was experiencing large amounts of water entering the corners and window wells of her basment. She was also having dampness located on the walls. Clearly things were not looking good! Knowing about our great reputation, Beth called Baker’s to set up her free estimate.
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley gave the full inspection of the basement, and determined that Beth’s personalized waterproofing solution included installing 2 Super Sump sump pumps at the lowest levels of the basement, and 130 ft. of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage around the entire perimeter of the basement.
In addition to, Beth purchased 130 ft. of CleanSpace crawl space liner which was attached to the wall. The liner creates a barrier for water moisture. Beth decided to also purchase 2 IceGuard ports. The IceGuard system allows water to escape from the sump pump discharge line even if the pipe freezes over or becomes blocked for any reason.
The installation of these great patented products only lasted 3 days and Beth was happy to have her dry storage space back in action!
The crawl space of this New Kensington home needed to be encapsulated. The area was musty, smelly and was starting to have mold growth. It was getting so bad that the odors were seeping up into the house. Homeowner Bruce called Baker’s to fix this health hazardous issue.
Service Advisor George Hollenbeck gave the free inspection and determined the best solution. He proposed encapsulating the crawl space with our patented 20ml thick CleanSpace crawl space liner. He also had a drainage matting inserted underneath the liner making traffic more tolerable, as well as vent covers to block outside air.

A homeowner in East Palestine, PA was inquiring about getting her front steps, partial sidewalk and driveway pads leveled. She saw a commercial on TV about our concrete leveling system and called the office for a free estimate.
We inspected the pads and determined that this job was fit PolyLEVEL. PolyLEVEL is a great alternative to completely replacing concrete slabs, not to mention it is significantly less costly. The system works by injecting a high-density polyurethane foam underneath the concrete through small penny-sized holes. At impact the foam expanses and raises the slabs. This solution is best for areas such as driveways, stoops, sidewalks, patios, and pool decks.
After the project was completed the homeowner said she was happy that her home was now free of potential trip hazards!
A homeowner in Ohio had sinking concrete porch steps and sidewalk slabs. The concrete slabs around the home had been sinking for about 3 years before the homeowner called Baker's Waterproofing to get an idea of what repair work was needed.
Over the last 3 years, the concrete slabs had shifted with the unstable soils below. Our Service Advisor visited the home to complete a thorough inspection and identify how much of our concrete lifting product would be required to fill the voids below the slab. He designed a custom solution for the slabs that had sunk about 1 inch.
The Foreman and his crew arrived at the home to install our PolyLevel slab solution. PolyLevel is a state-of-the-art polyurethane formula that is injected beneath the concrete slab through a small port. Once injected, the expanding properties of the polyurethane allow for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. The Foreman lifted the slab about 1 inch, but, most importantly, we permanently stabilized the sidewalk and porch steps.
A homeowner in East Liverpool had basement water issues in his home for nearly 15 years. He began to see evidence of mold and grew tired of dealing with this problem, so he called Baker's Waterproofing for a free estimate.
Our Certified Waterproofing Specialist, Mike Felt, met with the homeowner to inspect the inside and outside of the home and discuss options. This was a finished basement that the homeowner wants to refinish once the area is protected against water leakage. Mike demonstrated our waterproofing solution and process with our top-of-the-line computer software, then designed a custom solution.
The homeowner hired Baker's for the project. Our installation crew, led by Foreman Theron Block, fixed this home in just 2 days. Our crew addressed the basement water issue with our unique WaterGuard drain with 2 easy-access ports, grated TrenchDrain at the basement entryway, TripleSafe sump pump system, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and exterior IceGuard discharge system.

A homeowner in East Liverpool had never experienced basement water problems until now. He identified water in the back corner of his basement wall even though he already had a sump pump installed. This old, failing sump pump system was no longer a good solution for his home.
Our Service Advisor, Bob, inspected the home to design a custom repair solution. Bob advised the homeowner to choose our TripleSafe system and WaterGuard below-floor drain to keep water out of the basement. He was happy with our system and hired Baker's for the repair work.
The crew, led by our Foreman Jon, replaced the old pump with our reliable TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe includes a built-in WaterWatch alarm, CleanPump stands to raise pumps off the bottom of the liner, and an airtight sump lid to keep odors and humidity out while protecting the sump from debris from the basement floor. Now, the homeowner is happy to have a new and trusted basement waterproofing system!
A homeowner planned to fix the sinking concrete slabs in his uneven driveway about 5 years ago. At that time he hired another contractor to lift the slabs, but their mud-jacking solution failed. In just a couple years time the concrete was sinking again. The homeowner only wanted a long-lasting solution for his uneven concrete driveway.
We demonstrated our lightweight PolyLevel slab solution during the homeowner's free inspection. PolyLevel fills the void in unstable soils to permanently stabilize the concrete above and provides potential lifting capabilities.
During the inspection, we identified two 8'x12' sections of concrete sank into the unstable soils below. The homeowner told us that the slabs needed about 1 inch of lift to be completely level. However, our measurements showed that it would be about double that amount. The homeowner was excited about our slab solution, so he scheduled the project.
Our crew carefully injected PolyLevel, our high-density foam, through penny-sized holes in the concrete. This foam expanded into the void beneath the two concrete slabs. This quick process gave the homeowner peace of mind that the slabs would not sink any further. At the same time, our crew successfully lifted the slabs 2.25 inches!
A homeowner's block foundation wall developed horizontal and stair-step cracks. A few years later, the chimney began to pull away from the house as well. As the chimney got worse, the wall continued to move inwards too. Finally, the homeowner called Baker's Waterproofing to fix this failing foundation.
We completed a thorough inspection of the inside and outside of the house to design a custom bowed wall, foundation repair, and gutter downspout solution. However, the homeowner did not want to repair his tilting chimney. He consulted with his roofer to remove it all together. At a later date, the homeowner hired our team to install our Geo-Lock wall anchor system and LawnScape underground downspout extension.
Within 1 day, the bowed, cracked wall was immediately and permanently stabilized with 4 Geo-Lock wall anchors through stable soils. On the same day, we rerouted the existing gutter downspout to where roof-water now escapes at the end of an underground camouflaged pipe.

Our professionally-trained experts prevented the slab from further downward movement with the right concrete leveling solution for this homeowner.

For more than 30 years, a homeowner in East Liverpool, OH has been experiencing a settling concrete porch. The homeowner was unhappy with the way it looked, so they decided to give Baker's Waterproofing a call to set up a free inspection.
Our certified expert, Shawn, inspected the home and gave the homeowner a quote to fix this issue. During the inspection, Shawn explained that we have a PolyLevel foam that we use to fill in voids that are beneath sinking slabs.
The homeowner was happy to get the work done at an affordable price. Our foreman, Scott, and his crew drilled small, penny-sized holes in the concrete. Then, we used small ports to inject our high-density foam into the empty voids below. After our crew stabilized and raised the concrete porch, we carefully grouted the small injection holes.
The homeowner took the time to give Scott a Facebook review letting us know that he was friendly, funny, and efficient. This concrete porch is back on solid ground!
