Homeowner Carol of Clinton was experiencing water leakage seeing up to 12" of rain during heavy rains in her basement. This was definitely causing concern since she was looking to sell her home in roughly 2 years, and did not want to have this be a problem during the selling process.
After giving Carol her free estimate, Service Advisor Tom Faessel recommended and informed Carol of the best products for her current situation. She decided to go with our patented TripleSafe sump pump system to address the very excessive amounts of water coming into her basement. This is our most efficient sump pump system. The TripleSafe contains three separate pumps invested into the system. Zoeller M-53 does most of the pumping; it is efficient and smoothing running. Zoeller M-98 pump operates when pump 1 fails or if it cannot keep up with the heavy workflow. Lastly the UltraSump is the third component and is battery operated. This is used when the power fails to the first 2 pumps and is used when the power fails. For example, this would be used during a storm when the power goes out.
Carol also went with our TrenchDrain surface drainage system.
To go along with the Triple Safe our most recommended interior drainage system, Water Guard was installed along the wall resting on top of the footer. WaterGuard is connected to the TripleSafe which is what pumps the water out of your home.
Carol was very pleased to see that her extreme case of water damages were resolved and that she was now able to sell her home without worry.
Freda and Clinton of Charleroi PA have been living in their home for nearly 40 years. As of recently they were experiencing routine water seeping through their block foundation. After contacting Baker’s Waterproofing and setting up their free estimate they were able to view our wide portfolio of products and solutions to solve their specific problem.
After conversing with one of our fully trained Service Advisors, they went with our SuperSump sump pump system and WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system to protect their much-needed space. The overall installation of these products lasted 1 day, and Freda and Clinton were very happy to see that their basement was free from any water damages!
Frank and Wilma of Baden, PA were experiencing water entering their basement during heavy rains. The couple finally decided it was time to call Baker’s for a free estimate.
Frank and Wilma wanted a waterproofing solution that would keep their basement dry all the time, and one that would waterproof in areas that water was entering. With these goals in mind Service Advisor, Donald Stiffler recommended a series of products that would meet and exceed their expectations. He recommended that the best solution would be to install both a Super and Ultra sump pump, and 57 ft. of WaterGuard sub-floor drainage.
As additional products, they purchased 57 ft. of our BrightWall white paneling system which acts as a vapor barrier and can greatly improve the overall look of your walls.
After the installation of these patented products Frank and Wilma were happy that their finished basement was safely dry again!
Homeowner Shawn of Aliquippa, PA had a 1” bow to the 26’ side wall of his home. The bow was causing concern for the safety of his foundation. With this in mind, Shawn decided to call Baker's for a way to providing stabilization to the wall.
The wall was secured with 3 GeoLock wall anchors. Anchors are a great selection to fixing hazardous bowing, buckling, or tipping walls! The GeoLock anchors utilize exterior installation by having galvanized steel rods driven through 1” holes along the interior wall. The rods are then connected to 16x16 earth plates that are located underground approx. 12 ft. away from the foundation and wall plates (like seen in this photo) are attached. Over time the anchor is torqued and will help to even straighten the wall.
Jacquelyn of Beaver Falls, PA was having water enter the front corner wall of her basement. With this being an ongoing issue Jacquelyn finally decided it was time to call Baker’s for a free estimate.
Service Advisor Shawn Evans proposed installing 10 ft. of WaterGuard drainage up against the wall of the foundation where water was entering. This drainage system will direct water to the sump pump. Shawn had a SuperSump sump pump installed. This is our most cost efficient pump, having the ability of pumping roughly 2,650 gallons of water out of Jacquelyn’s basement. As an additional feature Jacquelyn purchased 10 ft. of Lawn Scape downspout extensions which will direct water away from the foundation.
This simple but effective system provides a great way of waterproofing Jacquelyn’s much needed basement.
Michelle of Baden, PA had water entering the back and right side of her basement and garage. With this issue only becoming worse, she called Baker’s Waterproofing for a free estimate.
In May of 2015 Service Advisor George Hellenbeck came to Michelle’s home and was able to create a superior waterproofing system for Michelle’s specific needs. He proposed installing WaterGuard along the footer of the back and right wall where water was entering. WaterGuard will prevent water from entering the basement and will redirect the water to the sump pump. George had a SuperSump sump pump installed in her garage. The pump comes with a WaterWatch Alarm System that will go off if water rises over a certain level. From the pump the discharge line was connected to Michelle’s downspout extensions, directing water outside of her home.
As an additional feature CleanSpace anti-microbial liner was specifically cut and applied to the wall. The liner creates a vapor barrier that will allow any water to run down into WaterGuard and will prevent mold and mildew growth.
Thomas of Beaver, PA had water entering the front right corner of his basement. Fed up Thomas finally decided that it was time to call Baker’s for a free estimate.
Service Advisor Shawn Evans created a system that was effectively able to waterproof specifically where water was entering. To do this Shawn had 11 ft. of WaterGuard french drainage installed flush with the floor, along the side wall of the foundation. WaterGuard will prevent water from entering the basement, and instead will redirect water to the sump pump. Shawn had a SuperSump sump pump installed. This sump comes with a WaterWatch Alarm System that will go off if water rises over a certain amount. From the pump the discharge line was routed and connected to Thomas’s downspouts. As an additional feature Thomas added 15 ft. of LawnScape downspout extensions which allows water to flow away from his home.
The installation of these patented products only lasted 1 day, and Thomas was glad to finally have his much needed storage area dry once again.
Carol of Clinton, PA has been having water related issues in her basement for over 23 years. Fed up and ready to move, she called Baker’s Waterproofing to create a waterproofing system which could keep her basement dry all the time, and one that could even prevent future leaks from happening.
Baker’s Waterproofing was up to the challenge! Service Advisor Tom Faessel traveled to Carol's home and conducted the free estimate. To meet Carol's goals he had 2 TripleSafe sump pumps, and a sub-floor french drain called WaterGuard installed along the entire perimeter of her basement. The TripeSafe pump contains 3 pumps in 1 to prevent The first 2 pumps have the capacity of pumping 2,600 gallons of water per hour out of this basement, while the 3rd pump is battery- operated and kicks in if there is a power shortage. WaterGuard is our most recommended drainage system. The drainage track rests on top of home’s footer against the wall to prevent water from entering the space. It will direct water to the sump pump.
As additional products Carol purchased LawnScape downspout extensions to divert away from her foundation, and CleanSpace wall liner to prevent water from entering through her basement walls.
After the installation of these products, Carol was excited to finally have her home ready to be placed on the market.
Sharon of Aliquippa, PA needed a quick noninvasive solution to fixing the sinking concrete slabs of her driveway. Specifically 6 of the 18 slabs that make up her driveway were uneven. We raised the slabs with PolyLEVEL foam.
PolyLEVEL uses polyurethane expansive foams to lift the slabs. Being of a very lightweight foam material it is less messy and more environmental friendly than other concrete lifting methods. It is 100% waterproof and comes with a 5 year warranty. After the installation, the driveway was even able to be driven on 15 minutes after the slabs were raised!

Charles of Beaver Falls was buying a house with a multitude of problems. In particular, the 39 ft. front wall had severe bowing with the wall facing 2” inwards.
Service Advisor Nick Freda conducted the free estimate of the bowing wall. He determined that in order to stabilize the wall 8 evenly spaced Channel anchors would need to be installed. The anchoring installation process begins on the outside by inserting 16x16 steel earth plates into the ground approx. 12 ft. away from the home. Then on the inside 1” holes were drilled into the wall for our galvanized steel rods to be pushed out to the earth plates. When the Channel wall plates were attached to the steel rods in the basement the wall was anchored to more the load bearing soil outside, providing the needed stabilization. A tightening kit was also given to Charles which he will use to attempt to straighten the wall over time.
Lousia of Pittsburgh had a basement that she desperately wanted to finish into a game room. However the puddles of water on the floor, and the condensation and mold growth on the foundation walls were preventing this dream from coming true. Baker’s Waterproofing was there for a solution.
Along with our patented waterproofing system, we installed finished floor tiles called ThermalDry. These tiles come in a variety of neutral colors and will completely protect from water as well as insulate the cold concrete floor below in Lousia's basement. Lastly, we installed BrightWall vapor protective white panels along the walls. They not only brighten up this room, but they also protect from further water damage, and prevent future mold growth.
A finished basement in Monaca, PA was unfortunately experiencing heavy water seepage that was disturbing the drywall paneling and carpeted floor during times of heavy raining spells. Enough was enough, so the homeowner decided to call the experts at Baker’s.
After pulling back the carpet along the foundation allowed us to install our patented draining system within the floor, against the leaking foundation. The WaterGuard French drain is designed to hug the foundation to collect water and route to a sump pump where it is then moved to an outside downspout line. We installed a SuperSump pump system with a solid tight lid. Our basement waterproofing system is specifically designed for finished basements and allows the for the carpeting to back over without fear of water leakage.
As an additional feature to the system we extended the downspout line to go out to the road. This prevents any circulation of water back into the basement Another home fixed! To learn more about finished basement waterproofing click HERE
Stacey was looking to purchase a house in Monaca, PA. Upon inspection of the house, an engineer noticed that the right foundation wall was slightly shifting out of alignment (bowing). This problem had to be addressed before Stacey could call this place home.
Baker’s was able to stabilize the home with the installation of our patented CarbonArmor system. CarbonArmor is a non-invasive foundation repair solution that attaches CarbonArrmor straps to the wall that are coated with epoxy resin. This material is 10x stronger than steel and is used to by engineers to build bridges and skyscrapers.
After the installation, Stacey purchased her dream home and moved in!
Mr. Beitsch's front steps had sunk to the point it where had become extremely hazardous. His daughters were concerned for his safety and the safety of others, especially since the concrete steps continued to settle. The problem was apparent years ago, but Mr. Beitsch finally decided to call us to fix this foundation problem.
For a complete solution, ensuring we would lift and level the stairs for a safe walkway, our crew installed PolyLevel. Our foreman, Scott Clark, and his crew began installation by strategically identifying locations to inject our PolyLevel foam. They drilled penny-sized holes into the concrete slab, inserted injection ports, then injected our high-density urethane polymers into the void beneath the slab. This slab solution filled in the voids where the soil had weakened and allowed the concrete slab to sink. Fortunately, PolyLevel is our lightweight solution that will not add weight to these existing soils! Another PolyLevel perk, is that the entire installation process creates very minimal disruption to the existing concrete. The crew grouted and sealed these small holes, then were on their way to the next job. As you can see in the photo, Mr. Beitsch's front steps have lifted and returned back to its original position!
A homeowner in Beaver Falls was in need of concrete and foundation repairs. The concrete front porch settled over time due to weakened soils below the slab. This sunken porch needs to be lifted because it is negatively affecting the surrounding foundation. The homeowner also needed to address the bowing walls along the front and side of the house. Overtime, the walls began to bow inwards due to the intensity of outside soil pressure. The homeowner plans to put the house on the market, so fixing these problems beforehand will keep potential buyers in the door.
Our foreman, Tom Hannah, and his crew installed 7-foot Geo-Lock Channel Anchors. Our Service Advisor previously mapped out locations for each of the 14 earth anchors. On site, the crew began installation by carefully removing a portion of sod to be later replaced, leaving minimal disturbance to the lawn. After earth anchor holes were made in these locations, the crew drilled holes into the walls and drove galvanized steel rods out to each hole. The rods were tightened to each anchor, then all 14 channels were mounted on the walls. The 7-foot channels extend vertically down the walls, where they were bolted to the concrete floor with strong steel brackets. The next homeowner will have stable walls with the ability to be straightened over time.
Days later, our foreman, Scott Clark, and his crew arrived to level the concrete porch with our PolyLevel slab solution. Our polyurethane foam is injected below the slab, resulting in a solution that is less destructive than those of our competitors. The crew began by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete in strategic locations. Injection ports were placed in each hole, where our high-density foam was then injected. The foam expanded to fill in voids, and successfully lifted and leveled the front porch back to its original position. Scott and his crew completed this quick and easy installation process within 1 day and left minimal disturbance to the area.
The homeowner now has peace of mind with a completely stabilized foundation. Time to sell!
A Beaver Falls, PA basement was experiencing water leakage problems. Hairline cracks had developed in the wall, making it easier for water that tries to enter the home.
Our Foreman, Dave Cain, and his crew installed our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, WaterGuard below-floor drain with FlowGuard thin-floor drain, TripleSafe sump pump system, and LawnScape underground discharge outlet.
CleanSpace is our durable, plastic vapor barrier that easily attaches to walls, and even crawl space floors. The liner stops moisture and humidity from getting into the home. Our crew installed our interior drainage system around nearly 50 feet of the basement, then tucked the liner behind the drain's wall flange. All water is directed into TripleSafe, our powerful and reliable sump pump system. TripleSafe includes a durable sump liner, airtight lid, sump pump stands, WaterWatch alarm, 2 Zoeller sump pumps, and long-lasting UltraSump battery back-up pump. Dave and his crew also worked on the outside of the home, leaving minimal disruption to the yard.
LawnScape is our underground discharge outlet that extends the sump pump discharge line away from the foundation. At the end of our line, water will daylight 15 feet away from the home through our camouflaged grated outlet.
Our proven waterproofing system will definitely keep moisture out of this home even during the heaviest downpours!

Our Certified Waterproofing and Foundation Repair Specialist, Paul Zamareski, designed a custom crawl space solution. Not too much later, the homeowner decided to schedule his repair project.
Our crew, led by Foreman Ken Kahlbaugh, installed our CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier. The vapor barrier keeps moisture out, saves money on utilities, creates storage space, and increases comfort in the home.
A 1-day crawl space repair project was all it took to lower energy consumption and the cost of utility bills.
A homeowner identified a water problem near the exterior of the home. Two faulty downspout extensions leaked water near the foundation walls. If left alone, this could have led to serious water problems on the inside of the home, but luckily there is a simple, cost-effective fix!
Our Certified Waterproofing Specialist, Tom Faessel, inspected the home and proposed our LawnScape underground downspout extension be installed for a permanent solution. After the homeowner hired Baker's Waterproofing for the project, our crew arrived with the necessary products and tools. First, Rich Rotolo and his crewman removed the old extensions and removed the sod. Then, they connected PVC pipe to each existing downspout and ran the piping underground, away from the foundation. Next, the crew connected the pipes, then tied it into our LawnScape well. The only visible part is the green LawnScape outlet that rests flush with the lawn. For the last step, Rich and his crew replaced the dirt and sod in the yard.
Now, water drainage from the roof is directed far away from the home and onto the surface through the LawnScape underground downspout extension.
In the last 17 years, the carpet and drywall in a Beaver home was ruined by basement flooding multiple times. The homeowners were tired of throwing the carpet away time after time, so they called Baker's Waterproofing to find a permanent solution.
At first, they contacted two other waterproofing contractors for an estimate. After they met with our Service Advisor, Chris Shrontz, they chose Baker's to complete their project. Chris captured the picture shown below. Water entered the basement through this porous concrete block foundation. He designed a waterproofing system that would address leaks entering at the floor-wall joint as well as higher points on the wall.
At a later date, our crew led by Foreman Rich Rotolo installed our WaterGuard drain to collect foundation leaks and direct it towards our TripleSafe sump pump system. The heavy rains that used to flood the basement will no longer be of concern to the homeowners. Water that is collected in our system will be pumped out of the basement and resurface far away from the home at our LawnScape discharge extension and outlet.
