The soils beneath this sidewalk were not fully supporting the weight of these concrete slabs. Our foreman and his crew injected our high-density PolyLevel slab solution to address the visible damage. The expanding properties of the polyurethane allow for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. Our installation crew worked hard to give this homeowner a stable sidewalk, with peace of mind he would not have further foundation problems.
We believe rebuilding a wall is not always the best choice. For example, we repaired a bowing foundation in Cheswick PA with the installation of GeoLock wall anchors. Murrysville homeowners were experiencing a variety of issues in their home. They were concerned about the water that was entering their basement every time it rained, the poor air quality, and the mold that was starting to form on the walls.
Baker’s installed a french drain, a sump pump systen, and SaniDry dehumidifying system to repair this space. This basement waterproofing system will keep this area dry!
Bill of Wexford noticed that one of his basement walls was beginning to bowing or push inwardly. This was definitely a concern since he was looking to sell his home in the near future.
A free estimate repair by Baker’s Waterproofing was able to determine that 10 GeoLock wall anchors would need to be installed to stabilize the failing wall.
Geo-Lock anchors are a great choice to repair bowing, tipping, or buckling walls. Each individual anchor is installed by having a 16"x16" earth plate inserted in undisturbed soil approximately 12 ft. away from the wall. Along the interior basement wall, a 1” hole is drilled to push a galvanized steel rod out to the earth plate outside. Lastly the wall plate, which is visible in this photo, is attached. The connection is tightened which gives the foundation stability.
George of Coraopolis was seeing significant cracking along his foundation, a key sign of settlement or sinking. Fearing for the safety of his home he called Baker’s to look into repairing his foundation.
We repaired the foundation by installing 5 Push Piers. The PushPier system is able to permanently stabilize your foundation, and allows the best opportunity of lifting the foundation back to its original level. To install these piers your footing is first exposed and a bracket is secured to the footing. Next, steel tubes (piers) are hydraulically driven through the bracket to competent soils or bedrock. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to load bearing strata. The home is then lifted back to level (if it is possible).
After the installation there is no doubt that George was glad that his foundation was now safely secured.
Greg and Judy of Bethel Park have been living in their home for nearly 10 years. Recently they have been experiencing water leaking into their basement through the front and right side walls. This was definitely starting to cause concern for couple since they were causally looking to sell their home. (On average a house is devalued by 20% if there are any water issues pertaining to the house.)
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley proposed a SuperSump sump pump system, and a sub-floor, interior french drainage system against front and side walls. The Washington Auto Mall was experiencing water seepage along the basement floor of their main building. They contacted Baker’s Waterproofing for a repair solution to the problem. Leo of Monroeville, PA wanted to have the sidewalk in his backyard repaired. After hearing about our newest and innovative concrete leveling product PolyLEVEL, Leo called Baker's for a way into leveling his sinking concrete slab.
He booked his free estimate. Tom Eckersley, one of our handy dandy Service Advisors, came to his home and informed him on PolyLEVEL. He explained that it is a high density urethane polymer foam that is inserted underneath through penny sized holes. The foam expands, raising the slab back to level. POLYLEVEL is 100% waterproof and will last 80 years!
After PolyLEVEL was inserted Leo was very happy to see that his sunken concrete slab was properly leveled and was now free from any trip hazards!
After noticing a bow of 1” along the side wall of his home, Patrick of Gibsonia called Baker’s Waterproofing to set up a free estimate to assess and to fix the wall. Baker’s assessed the situation and proposed the installation of 4 Geo-Lock wall anchors to stabilize the failing wall.

Kennedy Township homeowner, Florence had a bowed wall and water leaking into her basement. Unhappy, she called Baker’s Waterproofing to set up a free estimate to have her wall and basement fixed.

After the inspection given by Service Advisor Nick Freda he was able to determine that 5 Carbon Armor straps would be installed to Justin's 17 ft. front wall since we could not use anchors in this particular case.

Rich of Carnegie, PA had water entering his basement from the front of his garage and basement walls. With this problem only becoming worse, Rich decided it was finally time to call Baker’s Waterproofing for a free estimate.
Service Advisor and now Production Manager Donald Stiller gave the inspection and created the best waterproofing solution for Rich's specific case. It was determined that a SuperSump sump pump, 39 ft. of WaterGuard sub-floor french drain would be his solution. To improve the system, Rich also purchased BrightWall paneling, a system that is used as a vapor barrier against water entering the basement from the wall.
The project only lasted 3 days and Rich was happy that his basement was now perfectly dry!
Daniel of Springdale, PA had water accumulating from all areas of his 110 sq. ft. basement during heavy rains. He decided to call Baker’s to receive an estimate on having his entire basement waterproofed.
The inspection was conducted by Service Advisor Michael Richmond. He determined the best waterproofing solution for Daniel’s specific case. He had our patented WaterGuard french drain, a system that is a result of years of R&D from the largest network of water proofers in the world, installed around the entire basement perimeter flush with the floor. Along with the drain, a SuperSump pump was installed with a battery backup pump. Lastly, since Daniel’s walls were prone to condensation, we applied white vapor protective panels called BrightWall. Mindy and Rich of Natrona Heights PA were very upset to find their carpeted basement soaked with water one night after a heavy rain storm. Ensuring this would never happen again they called Baker’s Waterproofing for a solution.
Bradley Feld was the Service Advisor on the case. He proposed installing a SuperSump sump pump, and WaterGuard sub-floor drainage systen.
In addition to Bradley also recommended that the outside downpout be extented 15 ft. with our LawnScape downspout extensions to divert water further away from the foundation.
Nick of Mckeesport PA was having substantial amounts of water entering his basement during heavy rains from the front and sides walls. This was definitely a cause for concern since he wanted to finish his basement in the near future.
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley was able to create a solution that met Nick's specific goals. To waterproof the basement in areas where water was entering Water Guard sub floor drainage was inserted over top of the footer to the front and sides walls. Water Guard leads water to the sump pump. Since Nick wanted to keep his basement dry under all circumstances he had both a Super and Ultra sump pump installed. The Super Sump is the main pump in this system. It has the ability of pumping 2,650 gallons of water per hour out of Nick's basement. The Ultra sump is battery operated and is the backup pump if power fails to the Super Sump.
As additional features to this system, Nick purchased our Clean Space liner which was applied to the walls preventing water from permeating through. This is a great asset for finished basements since drywall can be applied over top. He also purchased our Thermal Dry flooring. Thermal Dry is a lock tile flooring system which creates a barrier for moisture and mold. The titles come in a variety of shades and designs. Lastly he had a SaniDry dehumdifying installed. The Sani Dry is more powerful than a standard house humidifier and is a great solution to purifying your basement's air which helps to prevent future mold growth.
Nancy D of Bridgeville, PA was unnerved that water was starting to enter the back wall of her laundry room. The issue was only getting worse for Nancy, so she decided to call Baker’s for a free estimate.
Service Advisor Nick Freda was able to create solution that prevented water entering the basement along the back wall. WaterGuard perforated drain piping was installed within the concrete floor. Water is collected into the drain instead of entering the basement and is lead to a sump pump. Nick had a SuperSump sump pump installed. The pump leads water outside of the basement to a downspout at a rate of 2,500 gallon of water per hour. These products will keep this basement dry!
Michael of Oakmont, PA was having both water leakage and mold growth in his basement. Clearly not happy he called Baker’s Waterproofing for a way into tackling this ongoing issue.
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley was able to create a great solution that addressed all the issues Michael was having. He proposed our patented WaterGuard sub-floor drain installed against the perimeter to block incoming water. Tom had also had a sump pump system called The SuperSump installed in the back corner. This is our most cost efficient pump, having the ability of pumping roughly 2,650 gallons of water per hour out of a basement. The pump also comes with a WaterWatch Alarm System to alert Michael if water rises over a certain level. The pump has a connected discharge line that was routed to a downspout.
To address the mold growth, Michael had BrightWall paneling mechanically applied to the wall. BrightWall white panels will never rot, warp, or discolor. Any water that passes through wall cracks will run downwards behind the wall to the WaterGuard drain.
After the installation of these great patented products Michael was happy to have his basement running in tip top shape once again.
Robert of lovely Sewickley, PA had water soaking the carpet of his finished basement along the left wall.
We placed WaterGuard french drain within the floor against the left wall. The drain is installed with minimal invasion to the floor and protects the area from water coming into the space. The drain was connected to a SuperSump sump pump. This sump has the ability of pumping roughly 2,600 gallons of water per hour out of this home, and also comes with a WaterWatch Alarm System that will alert the homeowner if water rises over a certain level. From the pump the discharge line will run and connect to a downspout outside.
As an additional feature Robert had his downspout extended with 12 ft. of LawnScape drain piping installed within the soil of the yard. Water will now flow out to the yard instead of back into the house.
Frank and Paul of Moon Township have happily lived in their home for 30 plus years. Recently, water leakage has been an issue along the front and side foundation walls of their basement. As this wasn’t enough, mold was also starting to take formation.
Baker’s resolved the mold problem by spraying Mold X cleaning solution over the wall, and attaching a durable vapor barrier liner called CleanSpace. Gladys of Upper St. Claire was starting to see stair-steps cracking on her basement walls. After further inspection she noticed that her back garage and basement walls were bowing inwards 1 1/2” in the worst area. After a free inspection we proposed stabilizing the wall with our most recommend wall restoration system, GeoLock wall anchors. This system uses a clamping method that anchors steel wall plates to exterior earth plates submerged in the soil of yard through the connection of a steel rod. This connection is tightened over time to straighten the wall.
In Bethel Park the front 38ft. wall, which consisted of both the garage and basement, was bowing. On top of this, homeowners Karen and Andy needed a preventive waterproofing system in their basement so they could finish the area as a game room.
We repaired the wall by installing 13 GeoLock wall anchors and 2 Channel anchors. Both systems work together to keep the wall securely in place to prevent further movement. Channel anchors were placed where the wall was bowing the most.

The Munhall Boro Building was having water seeping into their much needed basement used for storage. During heavy rains they would see puddles of water around the floor's perimeter.
Not to fear, Service Advisor Chris Shrontz traveled to the building and conducted a free estimate. Chris proposed the installation of our interior drainage system WaterGuard and a SuperSump pump. WaterGuard prevents water from entering into the basement, while the Super pumps water out of the basement. The Super can pump roughly 2,540 gallons of water per hour.
To go along with this system they also had our BrightWall paneling installed. These semi-rigid plastic panels mechanically apply to your wall to create a vapor barrier to protect against water coming through the wall.
Allison Park homeowner, Day needed a solution to her basement that was leaking water during heavy rains storms from the rear right corner.

Mike of Allison Park, PA needed to repair the bowing wall in his basement that was measured to be 1 ½” facing inwards.
Service Advisor Michael Richmond conducted the free inspection, and determined that in order to stabilize the wall 9 GeoLock Wall Anchors would have to be installed. These anchors utilize both the interior and exterior sides of the foundation and will securely keep the foundation from any further movement or bowing. If desired, the homeowner can attempt to straighten the wall by using a torching wrench over time to tighten the anchors.
Carl of McKeesport, PA was having water enter both his garage and finished basement area during heavy rain storms. It was getting so bad that the puddles of water on the floor were even starting to damage the carpeting in his basement.
In April of 2015 Service Advisor Tom Eckerlsey came to Carl’s home to conduct the free estimate. Since Carl wanted a solution which could keep his basement dry all the time he had our patented Triple Safe sump pump installed. This sump contains 3 pumps in 1. The first 2 pumps have the capacity of pump 6,200 gallons of water per hour out of your home, while the third is battery operated and works when there is a power shortage. He also had our interior drainage system, Water guard installed in the garage and into the finished basement area. The drainage track is easy to install, since it rests on top of the footer along the wall.
As an additional product, Carl purchased 8 ft. of TrenchDrain which was installed along the garage entrance to prevent excess water from coming into the garage.

There are numerous benefits to using PolyLEVEL as opposed to other concrete lifting options. Firstly, PolyLEVEL is an affordable and permanent solution. As you can see from these photos this Natrona Heights sidewalk had a very uneven concrete slab that led up to homeowner Gary’s house. He needed a solution to raising and leveling the slab. Baker’s was there for a solution.

He had 66 lbs. of the polyurethane foam pumped underneath the slab through penny sized holes coming from a pump connected to our PolyLEVEL truck. The back patio concrete slabs of this South Park home were greatly uneven. This was also allowing water to seep down into the basement from the ceiling. We leveled the patio with PolyLEVEL.

As you can see from the photos, the sidewalk of this West Mifflin home was uneven and needed to be leveled. After seeing advertisings on our concrete leveling product, PolyLEVEL homeowners Anthony and Joan called Baker’s for a way to level the slabs.
Service Advisor Kyle Horne inspected the sidewalk and proposed a solution using our PolyLEVEL lightweight foam. After years R&D, PolyLEVEL is a new innovative solution to repairing slabs. The high density polymer foam is easily installed by drilling penny sized holes into the slabs, pumping the foam underneath. The foam then expands, raising the slab back to its original position. Once installed the area is cleaned and the holes are patched with cement.
A Penn Hills home had both a basement and crawl space that were experiencing problems. Water was intruding the unfinished basement area, while the crawl space was beginning to smell and had mold growth on the walls. Homeowner Mark called Baker’s for a solution.
In the basement, we proposed our most recommended interior drainage system WaterGuard, with a SuperSump sump pump. We also had the crawl space encapsulated with our patented CleanSpace crawl space liner and had a SaniDry dehumidifying system installed to improve the overall air quality.

Paige wanted to sell her home in the near future, but couldn’t due to her leaky and vulnerable crawl space. Paige called Baker’s for a way to encapsulate the area.

To encapsulate the crawl space he had our patented CleanSpace liner applied to both the floor and walls He also installed a waterproofing system that included a drainage system with a SmartPump and UltraSump backup that both are able to effectively work with the liner to keeping the airtight seal. He also added 6 SmartJacks steel piers that were able to stabilize the foundation.
Homeowner Joe needed to waterproof his basement/garage area before he could even think about selling his Pleasant Hills home. The front wall was intruding water and mold was even starting to grow in the corner!
Baker’s Waterproofing repaired the leak by installing our WaterGuard patented french drainage system flush with the floor. Couple Dan and Erin of Whitehall needed a solution to restoring their bowed in basement wall. The issue had only been getting worse over time, and needed a solution quickly.
Service Advisor Justin Lowden gave the free inspection. He determined that anchors were unusable since the exterior sides of wall were not accessible. Instead a low key solution was propsed, using our PowerBrace system. PowerBraces consist of rust-resistant steel I-beams that are easily attached vertical to the wall in areas where it has bowed. Once in place the wall is considered stable and will not move any further. The Power Brace system also comes with a tightening kit that will attempt to straighten the wall over time.
Homeowners John and Linda of Munhall needed a solution to their sunken foundation.
To restore the foundation 13 of our patented Push Piers were installed. These straight steel piers were attached to the footer of the home by a bracket. The piers were then hydraulically driven into the ground to stronger and more supporting soil. This allowed the weight of the home to transfer on to the piers instead, making the home stabile and secure.
The front sidewalk leading up to this Allison Park home was greatly uneven. The slab had sunk so much that it was becoming a trip hazard to anyone visiting the home. Homeowner Paul called Baker’s after seeing advertising on our PolyLEVEL foam.
Service Advisor Tom Eckersley conducted the free estimate and explained the numerous benefits of the product. Our construction crew installed the foam by drilling penny sized holes into the slab for the foam to be pumped underneath. The foam expanded, raising the slab back to level. Afterwards the holes were patched with concrete.
PolyLEVEL is a new and innovative product that combines the technique of mudjacking with modern technology from our network supplier, Foundation Supportworks. PolyLEVEL is a lightweight foam that is 100% waterproof, and significantly more affordable than completely replacing sunken slabs. It has been used for years to repair roads for commercial projects by engineers and is now able to be used for residential areas too!
Sharon of Pittsburgh had a basement with leaking water. When it would rain water would puddle along the floor, and leave an odorous smell even after it was cleaned up.
Baker’s Waterproofing installed a waterproofing system that was specifically designed for finished basements. Our patented WaterGuard sub-floor drain and sump pump called the SuperSump were installed with minimal invasion to the floor. We replaced and installed a TripleSafe sump pump for full protection. The TripleSafe is a sump pump that will keep the basement dry, period! This sump contains 3 Zoeller powered motors and 2 discharge lines to remove large amounts of water quickly. The first 2 pumps together can move roughly 6,200 gallons of water per hour out of a basement. To stabilize, Baker’s Waterproofing and Foundation Repair installed 6 GeoLock wall anchors along the 28 ft. wall. This is our most recommended wall stabilization method. The system uses a clamping method of anchoring steel earth plates in the soil of the yard to wall plates along the basement's foundation, connected by galvanized steel rods. The Oakmont Country Club called Baker’s to replacing their smashed downspout extensions as well as installing an interior basement waterproofing system.Their basement, used for storage of their golf carts, was intaking water when it would rain.

Baker’s created stability to a bowed basement wall in South Park Pa by installing 6 GeoLock wall anchors. The installation of the anchors uses a torqueing method that anchors earth plates submerged in the soil of the yard to wall plates attached to the wall, connected by a steel rod. This connection holds the wall in place and prevents any further movement. Over time the connection can be tightened and allows the chance of wall straightening.

In Cheswick PA a homeowner had a 6 ft. high crawl space with a foundation that was beginning to sink. If left untreated serious structural damage to home could occur. Knowing this, the homeowner called Baker’s for a free estimate to stabilze the foundation.

In Cheswick PA the entire perimeter of a basement needed to be protected from infiltrating water damage. Water was coming in from all directions, incuding along the wall and up from the floor. Mold was also starting to take form. Something had to be done!
Baker’s assessed the basement and recommended that our interior sub-floor French drain be installed against the foundation, and that a sump pump be installed to move water outside of basement to a downspout line. Both products will prevent water from puddling along the floor.
Additionally along the foundation a white vapor barrier liner, similar to a pool liner, was hung. This prevents water damage along the wall, and with its’ “Ultrafresh” additive woven into the fabric, prevents future mold growth in the basement.

In Oakdale PA we restored foundation stability and confidence in the homeowner after installing 5 GeoLock wall anchors. By doing so, fixed the 1 1/2-inch bow that was occurring along the homeowner’s front foundation wall.

A finished basement in Morgan PA had a leak along the front and side wall that was disturbing the drywall paneling and carpeted floor during heavy rains. Desperate to fix this problem before any water damages to her home occurred, she called Baker’s.
Baker’s assessed the wet basement area and installed a basement waterproofing system this is specifically designed for finished basements. The carpet was rolled back to allow for our WaterGuard sub-floor drain to be installed along the footer with asump pump containing an air tight lid. Service Adviser Mike Felt assessed her wet basement and determined the best solution for her specific problem. Along the front and right facing wall our WaterGuard drain (74 ft.) was laid on top of the footer to prevent leaks along the foundation and through the floor. We also installed a TripleSafe sump pump to move water to the outside. Both products will keep this basement dry for years to come, and Anita now has a safe place to hold storage.
Karen of Crescent, PA had a major water leak along the front foundation wall of her basement. This was definitely a huge problem since her basement was finished and was starting to damage her carpeted floor and drywall. Baker’s provided an internal basement waterproofing system. To protect future drywall from harm, we applied our durable CleanSpace vapor barrier along the porous foundation. Below the floor, on the footer we placed 34 ft. of our WaterGuard drain. Both products work together by CleanSpace pushing water down into the drain via its 3/8 wall flange. This keeps the floor protected. Lastly, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump that pumps water from the drain to an outside downspout.

Tom of Brackenridge PA had severe signs of foundation bowing in his garage. The large stair-step crack formations were causing him concern and decided to get it inspected. He said he wanted a qualified contractor that he could trust.
Baker’s assessed the wall and determined that in the worst area the wall had shifted 2” out of alignment. Luckily for Tom, this shifting or bowing is something Baker’s fixes every day! Instead of having the wall replaced, we had 8 GeoLock Channel wall anchors installed. Channel wall anchors are specifically desiged for extreme bowing, and will give the foundation stabilzation. Over time the wall system can be tightened to even straighten the wall back to its original position.

A board member at The United Methodist Church in Glassport PA called Baker’s to look at the church’s musty smelling and wet basement.
We inspected the multi-room area and proposed an internal basement waterproofing system that would eliminate any puddling water along the floor. This consisted of installing WaterGuard sub-floor drainage along the rear and right block foundation walls where the leak was occurring. WaterGuard is easily rested on the footer and is designed to collect running water along the foundation and water by the floor seem. In companion to the french drain we installed a SuperSump sump pump. The Super will move water outside of the basement at a rate of 2,500 gallons water per hour.

The previous homeowner's daughter was preparing to sell her childhood home. In the beginning stages, she discovered issues that would greatly decrease the home’s value. A concrete deck located over the garage was cracking. Those cracks in the porous concrete led water to leak into the garage below. Previously, these cracks were repaired, but water continued to seep through the concrete. The daughter reached out to our company for a permanent solution. Soon thereafter, she was cleaning out the basement and discovered water seepage through some of their walls. They called one of our customer service representatives to schedule an additional appointment to prevent water from coming into the basement.
Their foreman, Michael Pry, and his crew installed one of our waterproofing options, WaterGuard Drainage System. This unique sub-floor drainage system sits on top of the foundation footing, and is proven to prevent clogging. Mike used a jackhammer to remove a small section of the basement’s concrete floor in order to create a drain trench. The crew then installed the 33-foot WaterGuard system along the perimeter, resting in a bed of drainage stone. Basement walls can leak from many points, including wall cracks, joints, and windows. Our unique system is designed with a wall flange, which collects water that may leak off the basement walls, and leads it into the WaterGuard system below. After the crew dug out an area near the right side of the wall, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This reliable discharge system will defend the basement against heavy rains and floods. The TripleSafe provides 3 levels of protection, including the cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower pump, a more powerful Zoeller ½ horsepower pump, and an UltraSump Battery Backup System, which keeps the pumps working in the case of a power outage. The Iceguard Discharge Line was also installed on the outside of the home. It automatically ejects water away from the exterior wall in the rare event that the discharge lines freeze. The IceGuard, an anti-freeze fitting, is designed with holes in it to allow this to happen, and water only escapes if the discharge line would become clogged or frozen.
The crew fixed the leaking concrete deck with our elastomeric coating. The Elastomeric Concrete Coating System creates a waterproof barrier for any rooms below, and protects concrete from the damaging effects of water, deicing salts, chemicals, gasoline, oils, and antifreeze.
Mr. and Mrs. homeowner had an old and faulty waterproofing system in place that was installed by a different company. They reached out to Baker’s Waterproofing professionals for a complete solution. There was mold in the basement and water was leaking into the basement, even with the existing drainage system in place.
Our production crew installed a sump pump and a complete waterproofing system to fix the homeowner’s wet and moldy basement. The foreman, Nathan Strobel, and his crew removed and replaced the homeowner's failing system with our Waterguard Drainage System. Our unique drainage system was installed to protect the entirety of the basement. Unlike competitors, our WaterGuard systems proven to prevent clogging with its’ strategically placed location, unique shape, and openings. This top-of-the-line draining system also has easy-to-access service ports and the ability to collect water that leaks out of basement walls, as well as ground water from under the floor. The basement’s perimeter was removed and dug out to make a trench for the drainage system to rest. Then, weep holes were drilled into the wall (directly above the trench), which allowed water to easily drain out of the walls and into the new system. In conjunction with this installation, the crew dug a small area in the basement to install the complete TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Once the WaterGuard system was in place, it was connected to the TripleSafe system. Then, gravel was backfilled around the sump pump liner beneath the floor and finished up with an airtight lid (the lid helps to keep odors out). The floor was then restored with concrete, now leaving the homeowners with a clean, dry basement.
The customer's daughter and son-in-law recently purchased a house in Pittsburgh, PA. The wall along their basement and garage was slightly bowed. He called us because he wanted straps installed, a simple solution we can provide for the new homeowners.
Our foreman, Mike Pry, and his crewman installed our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System. The 9 CarbonArmor straps that were installed was a perfect, unobtrusive wall stabilizer. Mike and his crewman first cleaned the wall to ensure good adhesion. Each strap was cut to the exact length of the wall, then both the wall and the straps were saturated with high-strength epoxy. After the epoxy was applied and the straps were placed on the wall, a final topcoat of epoxy was applied.

Our foreman, David Cain Jr., and his crew applied our ElastoMeric Coating to waterproof Mr. Bell's concrete porch and steps. Our ElastoMeric coating system consists of a cold-applied base coat and topcoat that creates a waterproof barrier. Elastomeric is a tough and flexible paint that seal cracks and keeps water out. The crew tried their best to match our waterproof sealant to the color of the porch, and we were able to maintain the porch's appearance. Our waterproofing solution will protect the concrete from the damaging effects of water, deicing salts, chemicals, gasoline, oils, and antifreeze. Our foreman, Dave Cain, and his crew installed a variety of our waterproofing products to address the issue. The crew dug a small trench along the perimeter of the basement and garage. Our internal French drain was installed to collect water and direct it to the sump pump. Our Trench Drain was also installed along the inside of the garage door to collect any water that would flood into the area. After installing the drains, the crew back-filled the trench with clean gravel and poured new concrete. Our TripleSafe Sump Pump was placed in a small pit in the corner of the basement, which is the lowest area of the home. This way, it is much easier for water to channel through the drain into the sump pump. Our IceGuard anti-freeze fitting was attached to the discharge line directly outside of the foundation. This line will direct water through the slots and away from the home in the event that the discharge line clogs or freezes. All water that our sump pump discharges escapes through our LawnScape Outlet. This green, grated outlet is connected to the downspout extension, and rests flush against the lawn. The crew also installed our SaniDry Sedona in the basement to keep dry air circulating throughout the area.

A Verona, PA home was experiencing bowing, cracking, and tipping basement walls as well as a wet basement. During heavy rains, water would seep through the concrete block walls, however, the homeowner's main concern was the unstable foundation walls. For this reason, the customer chose to address the main problem first, then find a waterproofing solution at a later date.
Our Foreman, Tom Hannah, and his crew stabilized the foundation walls with 19 of our Geo-Lock Channel Anchors. They dug small holes in the yard to place our galvanized earth anchors. Then, the crew drove galvanized steel rods through the foundation wall out to the anchors. After the steel rods were connected to the earth anchors, the channel anchors were fitted over the rods and mounted to the wall. The channels were then bolted to the floor for extra stability.
At a later date, our Foreman, Dave Cain, and his crew installed our quality waterproofing products. They installed 122 feet of our unique WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and 85 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System in the basement. The CleanSpace vapor barrier will direct wall leaks into our unique drainage system. All water will then be directed into our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. TripleSafe will pump out water that would otherwise flood into this basement. Water will be directed 12 feet away from the foundation through our downspout piping and reach the surface through our grated LawnScape Outlet.

Our BrightWall rigid plastic paneling system was mechanically attached to the basement walls. The waterproof panels will never peel or flake like other wall systems might. The original homeowner of a Carnegie, PA home built in 1958 had been dealing with a leaky basement for nearly two decades. The homeowner plans to place the house on the market, so she hired us to provide our permanent waterproofing solution that comes with our lifetime warranty.

This waterproof paneling will direct water behind it and drain wall leaks into the drainage system below.

A Pittsburgh, PA basement had flooded due to a water main break. Prior to this incident, the homeowner noticed a few damp spots in the basement. This durable, mold-resistant vapor barrier easily attaches to basement walls with drilled-in fasteners. In conjunction with the wall system, Dave and his crew installed our perimeter French drainage system. This interior drain was placed on top of clean gravel in a small perimeter trench, then was back-filled with more gravel. Lastly, new concrete was hand-poured over the trench. The drainage system connects to our Triple Safe Sump Pump System to keep all water out of the basement. At the same time the crew dug the perimeter trench, they dug a small sump pit in one corner of the basement, then completed the same installation process for the sump pump system. In this case, the sump pump liner contains 1 powerful Zoeller pump with a discharge line that was placed inside the trench to connect to the existing downspout. For the last step, Rich and his crew replaced the dirt and sod in the yard.

A homeowner in Oakmont called Baker's Waterproofing to inspect the crawl space beneath her townhouse. She never saw the inside of the crawl space, but she wanted a free assessment of the potential problems that could have a negative effect on the rest of her home.
Our Service Advisor inspected the crawl space, then informed the homeowner about the findings. After explaining the issues in her home, we learned that the homeowner was concerned about stabilizing the structure and controlling moisture. She hired us to complete the crawl space repair project.
At a later date, our crawl space crew arrived at the townhouse with a variety of our patented products. First, Ken and his crew installed our CleanSpace drainage matting, moisture barrier, and some drainage pipe to control the moisture. Then, the crew installed our SmartSump crawl space sump pump system to pump the moisture out of the home. We also sprayed our Mold-X2 stain remover to prevent future mold growth. Our crew dug 190 feet of our curtain drain within the yard. A trench was dug about 30 feet away from the foundation which will help to prevent the yard from “ponding” but cannot guarantee a dry basement. The trench was backfilled with 40 barrels of gravel and will intercept water coming from sloping terrain. This water will travel through the drain and daylight at the LawnScape outlet. LawnScape has a well that allows water to exit through the grated outlet and onto the lawn once it is completely filled up.
Two months later, the homeowner shared that their system has been working great!
