The chief of the Cheswick Fire Department called one of our certified waterproofing specialists directly to set up a free inspection.
Jesse coordinated with our appointment center to find a date as soon as possible to take a look at the fire house.
Our specialist Jesse found the fire house basement to be moldy and saturated with water, so he designed a system to get rid of these issues.
To address the leakage, our crew dug a full perimeter trench to install our below-floor WaterGuard drain to capture water and channel it to an existing sump pump.
We fixed the minor mold problem with our Mold-X2 stain remover spray on the walls. Also, we addressed the damp walls by installing a full perimeter system of our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This wall system is a 100% waterproof plastic, white liner that prevents humidity from passing through and directs wall leaks into the drainage system below.
We completed this project by setting up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to remove excess moisture from the basement air. This will help control humidity levels in the fire house.
The Cheswick Fire Department no longer has to deal with mold and water in their house!
