Baker’s Waterproofing Sponsors PONY League World Series

Teamwork is the core of Baker’s Waterproofing culture, and we firmly believe in recognizing and supporting group efforts, including youth athletics.

Our Pittsburgh-based team proudly sponsored the 2024 PONY League World Series. Held from Aug. 9-14 at Lew Hays PONY Field, Washington, PA, 10 teams of the top 13- and 14-year-old PONY baseball players from across the globe competed in the event.

Unity On and Off the Field

World Series Tournaments, Incorporated (WSTI), a nonprofit organization, has produced the PONY League World Series since 1981. It started as a transition league from little league baseball to higher levels.

Countless people power the all-volunteer board in preparing for and executing the event each year. This collaborative effort with PONY Baseball/Softball and Washington Youth Baseball ensures the annual return of the summer classic to Lew Hays PONY Field.

As an entirely volunteer-driven, non-profit endeavor, WSTI is always seeking new members to join in hosting this beloved community event. Those interested in contributing their time and talents are encouraged to contact the organization.
