Holes are hand dug to give access to the home's footer.
The 1st step is to measure the depth of the footer so to attach brackets.
Once the bracket is in place the galvanized steel piers are driven deep into the load bearing soil below using this tool.
By doing so, transfers the weight of the home onto the piers instead. This will prevent further movement.
This is the end result of of the Push Pier installation. The soil will be back filled. Push piers can be installed on the inside or outside of the home for stabilization.
Bill of Greensburg, PA needed to restore the foundation of his home along the garage. After a free inspection conducted by trained Service Advisor Josh Emery, it was determined that his house was settling ¾ of an inch. If left untreated the home would continue sink and possibly collapse. Baker’s Waterproofing and Foundation Repair stabilized the foundation from further movement with the installation of 9 patented Push Piers.
Push Piers consist of long galvanized steel piers that are attached to the footer of your home and are hydraulically driven deep beneath your foundation to stabilize your home. If desired the home can attempt to be lifted back to proper position. This will close cracking and improve window and door operations.
