Foundation Repair Case Studies: Bowing Foundation Repair in Valancia PA

Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 by Alyssa Petrella

A home in Valancia PA had a bow to the 78 ft. rear foundation wall along the basement area and garage. Homeowner’s Ted and Monica needed a foundation wall stabilization method to fix the wall from further movement.

To prevent the wall from shifting any further Service Advisor Don Stiffler recommended installing 13 evenly spaced GeoLock wall anchors along the rear block foundation. These patented and warranted anchors hold the wall in place by anchoring earth plates 12 ft. away in the soil of the yard to wall plates along the foundation, connected by galvanized steel rods. Overtime the anchors can be tightened to slowly straighten the wall back to its’ original position.
