This leaky basement developed a high relative humidity of 66% (we recommend keeping it at or below 55%). The homeowners eventually became concerned that the dampness would lead to mold in their home.
Groundwater continued to find it's way through the foundation, causing visible signs of foundation leakage.
Our certified specialist determined the depth of the foundation footing for our crew to properly install the below-floor drainage system.
Our certified specialist and crew provided the Baker's Waterproofing proven solution to keep this basement dry for years to come, with our long-term warranty and guarantee.
Our CleanSpace liner stops water, water vapor, and humidity from passing through into this home.
Our vapor barrier not only functions great to keep this usable space moisture-free, it also serves as a basement wall upgrade!
The TripleSafe sump pump system includes three powerful pumps. One includes the battery-powered UltraSump pump that will kick on in the event of a power outage or primary pump failure.
This basement waterproofing system was customized to the homeowner's preferences. Three of the four basement walls were treated with our system. We recommend a full perimeter drainage system to prevent future leaks, but the homeowners can add on to this existing system at any time!
A Presto homeowner called Baker's Waterproofing to get rid of the dampness on their walls and floor in the basement.
This issue persisted for a few years, and they grew concerned about humidity, mold, and other damages this dampness could cause in their home.
Tom McKee, one of our certified basement waterproofing specialists, inspected the inside and outside of this house. Tom custom-built the estimate based on the husband's and wife's preferences.
The installation crew was led by Theron Block. On the interior, the basement waterproofing project included our CleanSpace vapor barrier, TripleSafe sump pump with the UltraSump battery backup pump, and below-floor WaterGuard and FlowGuard drain. On the exterior, the sump's discharge lines were led to the outside of the foundation with two slotted IceGuard fittings, which serve as an emergency exit for sump water. The discharge line was led underground about 12 feet away from the foundation where sump water exits at the grated LawnScape outlet.
This Presto basement which was once filled with dampness is now a dry and usable space for storage!
