Moisture and water damage on a wall in the basement.
Our white and washable vapor barrier will ensure moisture and humidity stay out of this basement.
Our TripleSafe sump pump will collect water that used to enter the home, and pump it outside and far from the foundation.
The slotted IceGuard fitting (directly outside the foundation) will eject water in the event of a frozen line. The line extends about 23 feet away where water daylights at a small, grated LawnScape outlet in the yard.
A homeowner in McKees Rocks recently discovered some dampness in a small area of the basement. He's lived in the home for about 29 years now and just started having this issue one year ago. The homeowner said he quickly became annoyed with the basement water issue, so that's when he called Baker's Waterproofing.
Our certified basement waterproofing specialist, Jon, thoroughly inspected the home and designed a partial waterproofing system to fix that small leaky area.
Our crew, led by our foreman Theron, dug a small trench at the foundation floor-wall joint to install our below-floor WaterGuard drain. Theron and his crew also dug a small hole to install our TripleSafe sump pump system.
In addition to the drain and sump, we installed our durable CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture out of the basement and channel it into the drain below.
Directly outside of the foundation, we installed a slotted IceGuard fitting on the sump's discharge line to keep water from re-entering the home on the rare case of a clogged or frozen extension line. On the outside of this McKees Rocks home, we installed our LawnScape buried downspout extension to discharge the sump water far away from the foundation.
This homeowner is happy with his dry and more pleasant space in his basement.
