The most common way that water enters a home is through the foundation wall-floor joint.
The Foreman and crewmen arrived at the house with all the necessary tools to install the waterproofing system. The jackhammer is used to break a small portion of concrete at the perimeter. The crew then digs a small perimeter trench and small sump pit to install our drainage and sump pump systems. They use buckets to carry all dirt and debris out of the home.
After the crew prepared the perimeter trench, they laid clean gravel and placed our WaterGuard drain on top of the foundation footing. Then, they back-filled the trench with more gravel and hand-poured new concrete over the drain.
WaterGuard is our unique, cut-to-size drain. The homeowner requested that we leave a small portion of the wall untouched by our system. However, nearly the entire basement perimeter is protected from foundation leaks. If the homeowner wishes to complete the system in the future, it can be easily done.
Our drain will collect all water that tries to enter the basement. Additionally, a wall flange will catch any wall leaks and direct it into the drainage system below.
Our powerful and reliable TripleSafe sump pump system is a patented solution pumps basement water far away from the foundation. This TripleSafe includes the UltraSump battery backup pump. This battery-powered pump will only power on if both pumps fail or the power goes out.
Now, the TripleSafe pumps all basement water out of the home, meaning the next heavy rain won't be a concern anymore. All water travels through our LawnScape underground extension and daylights 40 feet away from the home. Even if the discharge lines clog or freeze in the winter, water will not re-enter the basement. Rather, water will eject through slotted openings from either of the IceGuard fittings.
A Farmington basement had been leaking for awhile. A recent heavy rain led to water pooling in the low-lying areas of the basement. The homeowner came across the challenge of basement finishing with the high likelihood of a reoccurring basement flood.
Our patented products work together to keep groundwater out of the home. Now, the homeowner can finish the basement without worrying about a flooded basement the next time a heavy rainstorm passes through Farmington.
