This Latrobe, PA basement has a monolithic floor, meaning the floor and footing were previously poured as one piece. This makes it extremely thick and challenging for our crew to dig up without creating a lot of dust. For this reason, they installed our DryTrak Baseboard Drain. DryTrak provides a simple solution that helps avoid an otherwise messy and time-consuming installation.
In Uniontown PA homeowner Melissa needed to protect her damp basement walls so that she could finish her basement with paneling. Baker’s applied a vapor and insulated barrier to her porous foundation called ThermalDry. This wall system will protect potential finishing from water damage and will reflect heat back into the space for insulation.
Service Advisor Chris visited this Morgantown West Virginia home to ease the concerns of homeowner Linda. During her inspection, Chris proposed that Linda’s garage foundation was in need of wall anchors as her foundation was bowed and cracking. Chris also advised that our vapor barrier wall panels called BrightWall be installed.
As a part of Homeowner Jeff and Lisa’s waterproofing system, a grated TrenchDrain was placed in front of their basement door entrance to collect excessive infilitrating water. This drain is connected to their interior WaterGuard drain; the drain leads water to a sump sump where it is then pumped out.
A homeowner located in Jeannette, PA had a finished basement with a bowing foundation. A professional from Bakers Waterproofing came down to personally asses the home and found that the best solution would be the installation of Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. These specialized anchors are attached to the wall and tightened over time to straighten the bowing and unstable structure. On top of the anchors, neutral wall covers were placed.
To address the issues of water entering into this basement, our crew installed a WaterGuard Below-Floor system as well as a BrightWall system to restore the look of the basement. An UltraSump was installed to reduce moisture in this space, and keep the area dry by pumping water out and away from the home.
This home located in Fairmont, West Virginia was experiencing water and moisture issues within the home's basement. To ease the concerns of the homeowner, our crew installed 20 feet of the French drain system WaterGuard. This perimeter drain will capture any water that happens to seep into the space and direct the water into a sump pump, and then out of the basement.
In Fairmont WV we installed our sub-floor WaterGuard drain to prevent water leakage in the basement. We highly recommend having WaterGuard installed as opposed to other French drainage systems. Most drains are placed under the footer of your home. This method is expensive, messy, and ineffective since it is placed in an area that easily clogs. WaterGuard on other hand is easily placed on top of the footer by digging out a trench along the wall to install the drain flush with the floor. Once it is installed the floor is able to be fully restored by pouring concrete over the drain.
David of Fairmont WV had our signature waterproofing system installed. This included our WaterGuard sub-floor drain that was installed along the wall to collect water, and a SuperSump sump pump. In the before and after photos you can see that after the drain and sump pump were installed the floor was restored by applying concrete.
This Delmont, PA basement had up to 2 inches of water flooding into the space when it would rain, and very damp walls which was causing paint to chip and even mold growth. We installed a patented solution to this problem. We installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drain within the floor of the perimeter with a SuperSump sump pump. These two components will block and reroute water from flooding into the basement. Lastly we applied a vapor barrier called CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a durable liner that protects walls from any further water damages.
Homeowners in Carmichaels, PA recently experienced a water leak in their basement and garage. Our crew installed our unique WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain along the perimeter of the affected area (about 129 feet). Now, these homeowners do not have to worry about wet floors with our proven solution!
A Belle Vernon homeowner had noticed that his basement had cracks along the walls and was taking in water as a result of the damages. After having a Service Advisor from Baker's Waterproofing come out and asses the situation, they recommended the installation and utilization of GeoLock wall anchors. These specialized anchors are galvanized steel rods that are anchored to the wall by hard-packed soil from the home's foundation to prevent further inward movement of the structure. Once they are in place they give the wall the full support and stabilization that it needs.
If substantial water is entering through the basement door we highly recommend a grated TrenchDrain. TrenchDrain will collect water and take it to the WaterGuard perimeter drain where it will then be pumped outside of the home. The drain can also be placed in front of staircases and even garage entrances too.

Tom and his crewman removed the ports, then sealed the small holes with concrete, leaving little to no disruption to the area.
As a part of Dennis’ waterproofing system our patented SuperSump was installed. This pump is the result of years of research to creating the uniquely designed pump that is the Super! Unlike other pumps which are made of plastic, this cast iron pump can withstand high heating levels, and is resistant to clogging, with the ability of pumping out ½” solids. The Super can also move 2,650 gallons of water per hour out of your home.

This dainage system is connected directly to the SuperSump pump system ensuring that water cannot collect around the basement foundation. This system along with the UltraSump battery back up will protect their basement even during power failures.
