In O’Hara Pennsylvania a homeowner needed to repair the bowing walls in his basement. If left unrepaired, bowing walls can lead to cracks that allow for water leakage into your basement or worse the wall could collapse all together. We stabilized the wall in place by installing our patented GeoLock wall anchors. This anchoring system is a less costly alternative then completely replacing the wall; the anchor holds the wall in place, preventing any further movement. We also fastened our BrightWall semi-rigid panels to the wall. The panels protect from wall leakage and will even improve the overall look of the basement with its bright white finish.
To address the basement water issues, our crew installed an interior waterproofing system in Mount Pleasant. On the home's exterior, we attached our IceGuard discharge fitting and LawnScape underground extension. IceGuard has slotted openings that gives water an emergency exit before it has the chance to reenter the basement (helpful if the line ever clogs or freezes). LawnScape consists of underground piping and a grated outlet to successfully direct water far away from the home.
This Latrobe homeowner was having serious issues with water accumulating in both their basement's foundation walls and the walls of their spare room.
To reduce this water accumulation, our crew installed a WaterGuard Below-Floor drainage system. This system is then connected directly to the newly installed SuperSump sump pump, ensuring that water cannot collect around the basement's foundation ever again.
A 100 year old home's dirt crawl space was filled with water and needed a solution to make this space a storage area for homeowner Philip. After a free inspection, Foreman Ken installed CleanSpace vapor liner to the floor and stone foundation to ensure the space would be converted from a dirty useless area to a dry usable storage space. Most importantly, Cleanspace will reduce humidity and improve air quality.
In Uniontown PA homeowner Melissa needed to protect her damp basement walls so that she could finish her basement with paneling. Baker’s applied a vapor and insulated barrier to her porous foundation called ThermalDry. This wall system will protect potential finishing from water damage and will reflect heat back into the space for insulation.
Homeowner Willma wanted to have her dirty and excessively damp foundation covered to protect against water damage. We applied a rigid vapor barrier called BrightWall to the foundation. BrightWall is waterproof, so it will not warp or become damaged with time. The paneling system is designed to push water down into the sub-floor drain instead of it seeping onto the floor.
Service Advisor Chris visited this Morgantown West Virginia home to ease the concerns of homeowner Linda. During her inspection, Chris proposed that Linda’s garage foundation was in need of wall anchors as her foundation was bowed and cracking. Chris also advised that our vapor barrier wall panels called BrightWall be installed.
As a part of Jeff and Ashley’s waterproofing system our BrightWall panelingwere mechanically fastened to their basement walls. These white semi-rigid plastic panels are specially designed to block water from coming through walls. Any water attempting to come into the basement will be directed downwards into the WaterGuard drainage track installed below. They were able to be fitted to the wall, even around the installed wall anchor seen in the corner.
By far this was one of our most extreme cases of bowing. Homeowner Donald of Morgantown, WV was seeing 3-4” of inward movement from the walls of his basement. To remedy this issue he had our patented GeoLock Channel anchors installed. These anchors utilize the exterior and interior sides of the wall and are specifically designed to handle extreme cases of bowing.
This foundation wall was pushing in at the bottom and developed various cracks.
We recommended and installed our Geo-Lock channel anchor system to address shearing at the bottom of the wall and permanently stabilize the foundation.
This home located in Greensburg, Pennsylvania was experiencing water along the perimeter of the foundation walls and floor of this spare room located below the home's front porch. To ease the concern of the homeowner, Service Advisor Chris suggested to install several products to waterproof the basement including: WaterGuard, a below floor drainage system; a sump pump system, the SuperSump; and drainage matting. Together, these products turned a wet, damp, dirty space into a dry, usable and more clean area. Now the homeowners can store their belongings and tools without concern!
In Grindstone PA homeowners Heath and Katie clearly needed to protect their porous basement walls from future mold and mildew growth. We applied CleanSpace, a durable vapor barrier liner to the foundation that is used as a shield to condensation. CleanSpace has “Ultra Fresh" woven into the 20 ml thick material that will help fight the presence of mold and to reduce humidity. This liner is a great barrier for any finished drywall or paneling.
A Belle Vernon homeowner had noticed that his basement had cracks along the walls and was taking in water as a result of the damages. After having a Service Advisor from Baker's Waterproofing come out and asses the situation, they recommended the installation and utilization of GeoLock wall anchors. These specialized anchors are galvanized steel rods that are anchored to the wall by hard-packed soil from the home's foundation to prevent further inward movement of the structure. Once they are in place they give the wall the full support and stabilization that it needs.
This home located in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania was experiencing water along the perimeter of the foundation walls. To ease the concern of the homeowner Service Advisor Chris advised the homeowner to install several products to waterproof the basement including: a below floor drain called WaterGuard, SuperSump pump system, and ThermalDry wall system.
Baker’s Waterproofing installed a basement waterproofing system that included our SuperSump and connected WaterGuard interior French drain. The drain was easily rested on top of the footer with minimal disturbance to the floor. The drain collects intruding water along the wall and directs it to the SuperSump where it is then pumped outside. Once the drain and the sump pump were installed concrete was poured over to restore the floor to how it was originally.
Gary and Jeff of Clarksburg WV were seeing that their home was sinking or settling away from the rest of the house. To remedy this problem we installed our patented Push Piers System to stabilize their foundation. This system is a great alternative solution to having your foundation completely replaced which can be messy and very costly. Instead these steel piers were hydraulically driven into the ground to more capacity bearing soil, transferring the weight of the home on to the piers. This provides instant stabilization and the chance of lifting your house back to its original state.
In Vandergrift, Pennsylvania we applied our BrightWall vapor barrier system to the dirty mold prone basement walls. These semi-rigid panels were mechanically fastened to the wall. Unlike other solutions like sealants or paint that easily chip, our panels are 100% waterproof so they will not become damaged due to excessive water exposure. This is a great addition to any unfinished basement!
Before The Munhall Boro could finish their basement they first needed to protect their damaged and excessively porous basement walls and floor. To do this we applied CleanSpace vapor barrier liner to prevent any further damage to the damp walls. We also installed our signature waterproofing system that included WaterGuard interior drain which is seen below with a SuperSump sump pump that is designed to pump water outside. With these products in place the Boro can finish the basement down the road.
Homeowners in Munhall, PA wanted to repair their wet basement, so they could continue to cross items off of their home improvement list.
In Bethel Park, PA we extended this homeowner’s downspout 12 ft. in the slanted yard to disperse water, coming from the waterproofing system located in the basement, further away from the home. The LawnScape drain piping was installed in a created trench within the soil, and will prevent water from recirculating back into the home.

Our crew members got hard to work to repair this Churchill PA water damaged basement that also had foundation problems. The foundation walls were bowing inwardly and clearly the paint was chipping due to heavy condensation. Baker’s installed a basement waterproofing system that consisted of a sub-floor drain against the perimeter, a sump pump system, and white waterproof panels that protect the walls from water damage and even mold. Additionally the foundation was stabilized from further movement by installing GeoLock wall anchors. For a FREE estimate click HERE.

This SuperSump sump pump contains an air tight lid seal and a discharge line that goes underneath the floor. This allows for the floor to be finished with carpeting and tile later down the road by this Pittsburgh, PA homeowner.
This porch rests over a garage. Because concrete is not waterproof and is susceptible to cracks, leaks developed in the garage below.
Our crew filled the large and small cracks, then applied Elastomeric Coating on top of the concrete slab. This coating creates a waterproof barrier that will prevent leakage problems.
