Crawl Space Pier

The crawl space environment is often damp and humid, in fact, mold and rot is very common. Often this environment causes the joists to sag and cause sloping floors in areas above the crawl space. This issue is so typical in fact, that we developed a piering system for support of the joists inside of the crawlspace.

Bakers Waterproofing uses the Foundation Supportworks' SmartJack to solve sagging joists.  This process allows us to re-level the areas above. In just a few steps we set the pier, lift the faulty floor system, and adjust the support system for permanent support. SmartJack Piers are designed to address structural issues inside the crawl space.  These piers can be installed typically in one day with minimal disturbance to the crawl space.
