Crawl Space Moisture Control

Just like your basement, your crawl space needs to be protected from excess moisture. Using a combination of a crawlspace sump pump and a dehumidifier will keep your crawl space safe from moisture, mold and rot.

Crawl Space Sump Pump

Part of keeping your crawlspace free from moisture is getting a sump pump specifically designed for your crawlspace. At Baker's Waterproofing we will help you install a special pump - the SmartSump - which is designed to deal with the problems that are specific to crawl spaces. It is a powerful, yet quiet sump pump that has all of the features of your basement sump pump, and can fit perfectly into your Cleanspace crawlspace liner. It also has great features to detect plumbing leaks in your crawl space. Since you do not frequent your crawl space, we know that plumbing leaks can go for months or years without being noticed. The pump will sound an alarm if there is a plumbing leak.

We will also give you the option of installing a battery backup with your crawl space sump pump that will keep the pump running even during the worst storms. The airtight lid will keep it from being a danger to you when you are in your crawl space, too.

The CrawlSpace SaniDry

SaniDry™ CSB's low profile, air filtration, and heavy-duty drying make this the perfect crawl space dehumidifier. The SaniDry™ CSB model is configured for crawl spaces with low ceiling height. As with our regular SaniDry™ unit, the CSB model is a powerful and effective dehumidifier. It will dry the air and automatically drain the water out of a hose, so you never have to empty it, like a conventional dehumidifier. The CSB model will keep humidity down, combined with a CleanSpace Encapsulation, so odors and mold go away. It is capable of reducing the Relative Humidity below 50% in any crawl space up to 2800 square feet!
