Basement Windows

If your basement windows are leaky or dark, Baker's Waterproofing has several systems which will work for you. Once your external waterproofing, such as regrading or downspout extensions are completed - often further repairs are required to make sure that your basement seepage problems go away.

WellDuct

A simple fix for many basement windows is the WellDuct. This system ties in with the WaterGuard drain tile system, which will drain water away from your window and down into your subfloor drain system. Once it is completed, the water will drain easily away from the window, down into the drain, and be disposed of from your basement through your sump pump.

A drain hole is made in your wall beneath the window, with a grate that allows water to drain down into the pipe. The pipe then connects down into the base of your foundation, where it connects with your drainage system, evacuating the water the same way the rest of the cove-joint water is eliminated.

Window Wells

Many below grade basements are fitted with window wells to protect them from rainwater and debris. These wells are also supposed to make the window bright and useful. The SunHouse Window Well is a bright white window well which will reflect light back into your basement, truly brightening your basement. Made of inorganic material, it will never rot or rust.
